Claire E. Rosof Ruden, 75, of Monroe, died Wednesday, Aug. 31, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Bayonne, she resided in North Plainfield and Kendall Park until moving Clearbrook 10 years ago.
Ms. Ruden was a learning consultant for South Brunswick Board of Education for 27 years and was recognized as Classroom Teacher of the Year in 1975.
She served on the Clearbrook Board of Directors and was an active member of the Brandeis University National Women’s Chapter and numerous professional and other organizations. In her leisure time, she loved reading and bird watching.
Her husband, Richard E. Ruden, died in 1999. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jack and JoAnne Ruden of Plainsboro and Stuart and Teresa Ruden of Santa Rosa, Calif.; one grandson, Eric Ruden of San Diego, Calif.; and several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, Sept. 3, at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, N.J.
