HONORING HOPEWELL’S HISTORY
The Hopewell Township Historic Preservation Commission, the Hopewell Valley Regional School District and the Hopewell Valley News (HVN) challenge you to prove your knowledge of the region’s rich historical landscape by entering the "2006 Honoring Hopewell’s History Photo Contest," which begins this week.
Over the next several months, clues to eight historic landmarks in the Valley will appear in the HVN. Those correctly identifying the landmarks and submitting photographs of them will be eligible for cash prizes up to $100 and a chance at having their history-smart photography appear in the 2007 Township of Hopewell calendar. Winning photographers also will have their work published in the HVN.

In each of the two months, clues for two landmarks will be printed (one each in the Junior and Adult contests). Tthe Hopewell Township Historic Preservation Commission and school district will select the winning photographs in color and black and white categories in both Adult and Junior contests for each of the two months.
The HVN will publish these winning photographs in the month following their selection. All winning photographs will be entered into the Grand Prize contest for the township calendar to be held in November 2006.
The contests are:
