Lorraine Werner Mott, 76, of Monroe, died Thursday, Sept. 7, at her home.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, Ms. Mott lived in East Brunswick for 35 years before moving to the Rossmoor 16 years ago.
Ms. Mott was a member of the Women’s Guild and a volunteer at the annual Grandma’s Attic sale, both located at Rossmoor. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Deborah Mott of North Brunswick; a sister, Margaret Isak of New Brunswick; three cousins, Kate Ryan and Shirley Bodine, both of Monroe, and Marge Mulligan of North Brunswick; a companion, Howard Withers of Monroe; and many friends.
Private entombment will be at Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Visiting hours for family and friends were held Sunday, Sept. 10, at Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
