Carolyn D. Pineda
ROEBLING Carolyn D. Pineda, 42, died Saturday at her home.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, Ms. Pineda was educated in the Middlesex County Public School System. She moved to Roebling, where she lived the past three years.
The evangelist was a highly esteemed member of True Servant Worship and Praise Church, Hamilton, where she was employed as the executive administrator.
Known for her passion to minister to hurting women and children, she was the former director of God’s Young United Servants and Stepping Stones Christian Pre-School and Daycare Center at True Servant, founder and CEO of Y? A.S.K. U.S. (Aids Survivors, Knitted, United, Standing), and the author of "Preaching with AIDS the Carolyn Jenkins Story."
As CEO of CJP Ministries, and host of the regional women’s conference Woman Warrior, her ministry was not limited to local impact. She was an annual speaker at the CeCe Winans’ Conference "Always Sisters," guest of James Robison’s Life Today Broadcast and national minister of compassion and care of Covenant Ecumenical Fellowship and Cathedral Assemblies.
Predeceased by her father, Eddie Jenkins, and sons Raheem and Hakeem Benton, she is survived by her husband, Alexander Pineda of Roebling; daughter Iesha Jenkins-Peoples and her husband, Robert; grandchildren Khyturah and Egypt Peoples, both of Bensalem, Pa.; mother Ethel Jenkins of Columbus; sister Theresa Jenkins of Bordentown; three brothers, Bishop Edward Earl Jenkins (Sheila) of Columbus, and his wife, Shiela, Elder Carl Jenkins of Willingboro and his wife, Tina, and Eric Jenkins of Hightstown; two sisters-in-law, Ellie Rivera and her husband, Jose, and Nereida Matos, both of Trenton; three brothers-in-law, Antonio Pineda Ricardo and his wife, Gloria, and Noel Pineda, both of Trenton; special friend Gwen Holmes of Columbus, Ga.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at True Servant Worship and Praise Church, 2630 S. Broad St., where her brother, Bishop E. Earl Jenkins, serves as pastor. Bishop Donald L. Hilliard Jr., senior pastor of Cathedral International, Perth Amboy, will be eulogist.
The calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church.Interment will be at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton.

Mary M. Anderson
ALLENTOWN Mary M. Anderson, 88, died Sept. 8 at her home
Born and raised in Chicago, she lived in Largo, Fla. for more than 30 years before moving to Allentown in 2005.
A graduate of Alvernia High School in Chicago, she was the former head of the warrant department of the Chicago Traffic Bureau, retiring in 1974.
Wife of the late John Anderson, she is survived by her daughter, with whom she lived, Karen Sieben; grandchildren Christopher Sieben of Medford, Elizabeth Sieben of East Windsor, Jeffrey Sieben of Allentown and Jeanne Sieben of Newark, Del.; great-grandson Tyson Sieben of Medford; and nephews Timothy Johnsen of Salt Springs, Fla., and William Johnsen of Downers Grove, Ill.
Funeral services were held at the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, with the Rev. Patrick Castles officiating.
Interment followed in St. John’s Cemetery.
Hannah Maze Kagel
EWING Hannah Maze Kagel, 95, died Saturday at the Greenwood House.
Born in Brooklyn, she was a former resident of Brooklyn and Delray Beach, Fla.
Wife of the late Henry Kagel, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Janet Potashner of Hightstown and Barbara and Miles Ettman of West Windsor; grandchildren Barry Potashner and his wife, Trish, Steven Ettman and his wife, Stephanie, and Jonathan Ettman and his wife, Marla; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial were held in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Memorial contributions may be offered to Greenwood House, 53 Walter St., Ewing, NJ 08628.
Funeral arrangements were by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing Township.
Frank M. Simonelli Sr.
EWING Frank M. Simonelli Sr., 84, died Sept. 7 at home.
Born in Lawrenceville, he was a Ewing resident most of his life.
He worked for the Roofers Union Local 108 and Local 30 of Philadelphia for 50 years until 1989. He also worked as a roofing inspector for the F.H.A.
Mr. Simonelli was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church of West Trenton, and served on the first building fund committee. He was one of the many founders of St. Ann’s Church of Lawrenceville, and was a former member of the Italian-American Social Club of Morrisville, Pa.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving from Oct. 14, 1942 to Dec. 19, 1945 in the 8th Army-Air Force 325th Photographic Wing Recon stationed in England and Central Europe. He was in the northern France, Rhineland, Central Europe, and Air Offensive Europe campaigns. He was decorated with the American Theater, European-African, Middle Eastern Ribbons, Good Conduct and Victory medals.
Son of the late Michael and Mary Aversano Simonelli and brother of the late Dominic, August, Peter, Michael, William, Alvera Pasquito, Claudia Rossi, Judith Apgar and Rose Vaccaro Bade, he is survived by his wife, Sandy; three sons and two daughters and their families, Frank Simonelli Jr. of Los Angeles, William Simonelli and wife Tara of Hamilton, John Simonelli and wife Barbara of Medford, N.Y., Sandra and Dean Nicholaou of East Windsor, and Linda and Dino Doukas of Huntington, N.Y.; eleven grandchildren, Frank III, Liam, Leif, Sara, Mary, Rebecca, Paul, George, Dean, Michael and Alex; sister Margaret Kalafut of Ewing; sister-in-law Marie Micai Simonelli of Lawrenceville; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel, West Trenton.
Burial was in Ewing Church Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Ewing.
