Sidney H. Sesser, 90, of Monroe, died Saturday, Sept. 9, at Balfour Nursing Home in Louisville, Colo.
Born in Newark, he resided in Monroe for five years before moving to Colorado in 2005. Mr. Sesser had a second residence in Hawley, Pa.
Prior to retiring in 1984 he was a salesman for Country Club Apartments, Eatontown, where he worked for 10 years. Mr. Sesser was an Army veteran of World War II.
His wife of 48 years, Marilyn Richlin Sesser, died in 2005. Two sisters, Sue Blum and Ellen Weiss, also are deceased. He is survived a son, Andrew Sesser; and his life partner, Cheryl Dial, of Broomfield, Colo.; a sister, Shirley Bakal of New York; and a granddaughter, Hannah Sesser.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, Cranbury Road at Evergreen Boulevard, East Brunswick. Interment followed at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
