A training session for individuals interested in becoming English as a Second Language (ESL) group leaders at the Old Bridge Public Library will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. on Sept. 25 at the library main branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road. Each group leader must attend a training session sponsored by the library and the Literacy Volunteers of Middlesex County. Once the volunteers have completed the course, they will be invited to become group leaders at the library. Leaders will volunteer their time once a week for eight weeks. A course titled “Introduction to Forensic Science” will be offered at Old Bridge High School, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, from 6-8:50 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 26-Dec. 14, as part of Middlesex County College’s Fall II schedule.
