The seventh Habitat for Humanity annual Motorcycle Ride for Affordable Housing is gearing up with an expected turnout of 800 to 900 New Jersey bikers. The fully escorted ride will take place on Oct. 1 starting in Freehold and ending at the Colts Neck Firehouse. A party will take place following the ride. Registered riders also have the opportunity to raise sponsorship funds for which Habitat will award prizes. A custom event leather jacket is awarded for raising over $1,000, and those raising over $500 will receive a custom event denim jacket.
