At 10:38 a.m. Sept. 11, Gregory Blute, 56, of West Camplain Road, was charged with DWI, refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer and reckless driving after he drove his car into the front door of Cyburt’s Liquor Store on South Main Street.
Police said there was minimal damage to the liquor store. Mr. Blute was not injured.
Mr. Blute was transported to headquarters and released to his son after posting $1,000 bail.
His vehicle was towed.

A Lincoln Avenue resident reported her son’s bicycle stolen from the front porch of their residence at 6:56 p.m. Sept. 11.
Police said the 20-inch royal blue Mongoose bicycle was stolen sometime between 5 p.m. and 6:40 p.m.
The bicycle was valued at $129.

South Main Street resident Tyrone L. Chambers, 24, was charged with criminal mischief, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct at 10:25 p.m. Sept. 11.
Police said Mr. Chambers locked himself in the bathroom at his apartment and was screaming threats and profanities.
Mr. Chambers broke the bathroom mirror and lunged at the officers, according to police.
He was transported to Somerset Medical Center for having a piece of the broken mirror lodged in his hand.
Mr. Chambers reported two people attacked him earlier in the day but after police investigated the complaint was unfounded, according to police.
Mr. Chambers was released from Somerset Medical Center pending a court date.

A Mercury 9.9-horsepower outboard motor was stolen from a Lincoln Avenue resident’s boat sometime between 5 p.m. Sept. 13 and 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16, police said.
The motor was valued at $1,000

Alan Khan, 18, of Cedar Street, and Danielle Persinko, 18, of North Third Avenue, were charged with disorderly conduct and underage possession of alcohol at 12:26 a.m. Sept. 17 while walking near South 13th Avenue.
Police said Mr. Khan and Ms. Persinko were walking in the middle of the roadway with a can of beer and under the influence of alcohol.
They were lodged in Somerset County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail each.
