West Windsor session on station-area redevelopment rescheduled

WEST WINDSOR — A Thursday executive session of the Township Council and Planning Board to discuss the public presentations by planners for the area in need of redevelopment surrounding the Princeton Junction train station has been rescheduled, tentatively for Oct. 11, council President Linda Geevers said.
The township is attempting to consolidate executive sessions in regard to the redevelopment project, meaning both the seven-member search committee charged with narrowing down planners’ applications and the Planning Board’s membership would be meeting with council the same night.
This meeting, Ms. Geevers said, follows a public meeting on Oct. 10. Ms. Geevers declined to speculate when a final decision would be made.
"We have to get through these three planning sessions and then take it from there," the council president said.
