Neil Robson
NORTH HANOVER Neil D. Robson, 48, died Monday evening.
Mr. Robson, along with his wife of 26 years, Jean, was the proprietor of Robson Farms and Greenhouses in North Hanover and Robson’s Farm Markets in Springfield, Southampton and North Hanover.
In addition to farming nearly 1,200 acres of crops, much of it on preserved land, he served as the president of the New Jersey Farmers Direct Marketing Association, the vice chairman and acting chairman of the Burlington County Agriculture Development Board, past president of the Burlington County Board of Agriculture, past president of the Vegetable Growers Association of New Jersey, and as a member of the North Hanover Township Planning Board and chairman of its Agriculture Advisory Board. He was also a past director of Garden State Farm Credit, past president of the H.O. Sampson Chapter of the Future Farmers of America at Rutgers, a member of New Jersey Farm Bureau and a member of the Professional Plant Growers Association.
He was the third generation of Robsons to farm in North Hanover and was widely recognized for his achievements as a grower and as a leader of the agricultural industry. American Vegetable Grower Magazine named him as a finalist for National Outstanding Farmer of the Year in 2005, the Vegetable Growers Association of New Jersey named him Grower of the Year in 1996, and the Burlington County Soil Conservation Service named him as Cooperator of the Year in 1994. He was named as both Burlington County’s and New Jersey’s Outstanding Young Farmer in 1993, the same year he was named one of the New Jersey Jaycees Ten Outstanding Young Citizens, and Mr. Robson was Farm Credit of New Jersey’s Outstanding Young Farmer in 1988.
He is survived by his wife, Jean (nee Houser) Robson; a daughter, Rosemarie Robson; his mother and father, Joan and Arthur Robson; a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Mark and Patricia Robson all of North Hanover; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Paul Tearnen of San Clemente, CA; a niece, Kristina Robson of North Hanover; his mother-in-law, Marcelle Houser of New Egypt; and many friends and employees.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Assumption, 76 Evergreen Road in New Egypt with Father Joseph Farrell officiating.
Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery in New Egypt.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Friday at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main St. in New Egypt (www.tilghmanfh.com).

James Watson
CHESTERFIELD James Watson, 50, died Sept. 24 after a battle with cancer.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime area resident, having attended the Pennsbury School District, graduating from Trenton High School and Mercer County Vocational Technical School, where he received certification as a tool and diemaker. He recently retired, after 23 years of service, from Princeton University.
Mr. Watson was active in local recreational activities, including volleyball, softball, bicycling, snowboarding and skiing. He was a five-year participant in the Anchor House "Ride for Runaways," having personally raised $15,000. His greatest pursuit was skiing and snowboarding, which took him traveling across the country and the world in search of fresh snow and steep mountains.
Son of the late Kenneth W. Watson and Frances and Eugene DeGrange, he is survived by his wife, Linda Baccaro of Chesterfield; his brother, Kenneth of Plainfield; his sisters, Wendy DeGrange and her companion, Michael Sheehan of Bordentown, and Susan Hancock and her husband William of Hermitage, Tenn.; his mother-in-law, Louise Baccaro of Kensington, Conn.; a brother-in-law, Bob Baccaro of Dalton, Mass.; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Martha and Donald Stockman of Sandown, N.H.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A service was held during visitation hours Wednesday from the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.

Robert T. Coates Jr.
FLORENCE Robert T. "Bob" Coates Jr., 79, of Florence, died Sept. 22 at home.
Born in Florence, he was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Coates was a retired correction officer, employed by Albert Wagner Correctional Facility, Bordentown, with 32 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan, enjoyed his walks and spending time in Ocean City and Atlantic City.
He was a member of the Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling, a former member of the Florence Township Board of Education, and was a mmeber of the Francis W. Robbins American Legion Post 1945, Florence, and PBA 105, Trenton.
Son of the late Robert T. Coates Sr. and Gertrude Willitts Coates, and brother of the late Elise Hughes and Richard Coates, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth A. Wilson Coates; his daughter and her partner, Kathleen Coates and Frank Dwyer of Florence Township; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert E. and Josie Coates of Browns Mills, Lawrence J. and Mary Ann Coates of North Wales, Pa.; a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Loren Jones of Florence; two sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Barbara and George Rooney of Stradford, Conn. and Earnest and Sandi Wilson of Jacksonville; her grandchildren and their spouses, Tiffany and Fred Hathaway of Roebling, Lauren and Lindsey Coates of North Wales, Pa., and Marty and Cassie Tulala of Browns Mills; son-in-law Richard Bugyi of Roebling; and several nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
The funeral was held Tuesday at Korchek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling.
Mass of Christian Burial was at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling, with the Rev. Albert Ricciardelli officiating.
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Forence.
Jean Ann Bartell
CHESTERFIELD Jean Ann Bartell, 76, of Chesterfield, died Sept. 21 at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly.
Born in Trenton, she had lived there until moving to Chesterfield 59 years ago. She had worked at Northern Burlington Regional High School in the cafeteria, Wilson’s Egg Farm, NADE in Bordentown Township and Walsten’s Nursery in Allentown.
Daughter of the late Thomas Goodwin and Julia Gurba Goodwin, she is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard W. Bartell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Robert Lilienthal of Somers, Mont., and Carol and Lawrence Durr of Chesterfield; four grandchildren, Jennifer and Lora Durr, Jeannine Reichenbach and her husband Anton, and Erik Lilienthal; five great-grandchildren, Dylan, Colton, Clayton, Wyatt and Cassidy Jean Reichenbach; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Eugene Evans of Trenton and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment followed in North Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton Township.

Napoleon A. Bouvier
FIELDSBORO Napoleon A. "Nappy" Bouvier, 56, of Fieldsboro, died Sept. 20 at home.
He had formerly worked at Raven Propane in Bordentown. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors, and liked to make model cars and planes.
Son of the late Walter and Julia Boivier, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Michael Daderko of Ewing; two brothers, Jerry P. Bouvier of Trenton and Walter I. Bouvier of Wisc.; two sons, Timothy and Walter Bouvier, both of Fla.; two nieces, Juliann Daderko and Monica Leone, and a great-nephew, Enzo.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
William E. Fenton
FLORENCE William E. "Mr. Bill" Fenton, 76, died Sept. 20 at Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly.
Born in Trenton and raised in Yardville Heights, he had been a resident of Florence for the last 38 years.
Mr. Fenton retired eight years ago as a compositor for the Trenton Times newspaper after 15 years of service. Prior to this, he did the same type of work for the Trentonian newspaper.
He was a graduate of Hamilton High School West in 1948, then served in the U.S. Navy and Reserves for eight years before starting his career in the printing industry.
He was a 38-year member of the International Typographical Union (now the Communication Workers Union of America) Local 103. He was also a 38-year member of the Florence American Legion Post 194 and the Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 for 45 years. Some of Mr. Fenton’s hobbies were hunting, fishing, and watching stock car racing.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janice Smith Fenton; two sons, William J. Fenton and fiancée Linda Andrie of Hamilton, and Robert E. Fenton of Aurora, Colo.; three grandsons, James Fenton and Timothy and Joseph Andrie; a brother-in-law and his wife, John and Ann Smith of Florence; and three nieces, Colleen Treusch, Kimberly Tool and Michelle Dressel and their families.
The funeral was held Monday from the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence, with the Rev. John Grove, pastor of the Columbus Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment was in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Florence.

Estelle S. Kolwicz
BORDENTOWN Estelle S. Kolwicz, 87, died Wednesday at the Virtua Health and Rehabilitation Center, Lumberton.
Born in Delran, she was a resident of the Bordentown area.
She was employed as a legal secretary with the New Jersey State Treasury Department. She retired in 1981 after 28 years of service.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Bordentown and was a member of the St. Mary’s Senior Citizens Club. She was an avid reader who enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City. Daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Swadges, she was predeceased by her husband Bruno Kolwicz, her son Ronald L. Kolwicz, and her brother Alec Swadges.
She is survived by her son, Edward J. Kolwicz of Columbus; a brother, Joseph Swadges of Delran and sister Helen Manz of Delran; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ignatius (Iggy) Kolwicz, Edmond and Irma Kolwicz and Julia Atzert; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at the St. Mary’s Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, with the Rev. Michael Burns officiating.
Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bordentown.
Muriel E. Hennessy
BURLINGTON Muriel E. Hennessy (nee Hughes), 88, a resident of the Masonic Home in Burlington Township for the past four years, died Sept. 19 at the home.
Born in Florence, she was a resident most of her life, aside from a short time in Riverside and Mount Laurel.
Ms. Hennessy was a member of Florence United Methodist Church, was an avid reader, and enjoyed sewing and seamstress work, creating clothing apparel for herself.
Wife of the late John J. Hennessy, she is survived by two sons and their wives, John (Terry) and Marlene Hennessy of Florence and James J. and Brigid Hennessy of Mt. Laurel; a daughter, Lois Schwartzkopf and her husband Ron of Gilbert, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Cremation was private and at the convenience of the family.

Spiro Tsahalis
COLUMBUS Spiro Tsahalis, 67, died Sept. 19 at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
Born in Sparta, Greece, Mr. Tsahalis had lived in the area for the past 45 years. He was a self-employed business owner/entrepreneur.
Son of the late Panayiotis and Eleni Sakkas Tsahalis and brother of the late Giorgos and Argyris Tsahalis, he is survived by his wife, Despina Ferssizidis Tsahalis; a son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Jennifer Tsahalis of Boston, Mass.; a daughter and son-in-law, Eleni and Shannon Lenahan of Chesterfield; a granddaughter, Lily Tsahalis at home; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Katina Frentzou of Sparta, Greece, Ioanna and Vasillis Kosmaoglou of Athens, Greece, and Georgia and Peter Skopas of Princeton; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday at St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, 1200 Klockner Road, Hamilton.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton.
Mary Solomon
BORDENTOWN Mary Solomon, 88, died Sept. 18 at her residence.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Solomon was a longtime resident of New Brunswick before moving to Claire Estates in Bordentown.
She was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in New Brunswick, the VFW Auxiliary Post 3117 in Edison, and the Senior Center in New Brunswick for many years.
Wife of the late Lawrence Solomon, she was also predeceased by three sisters. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Jack Tunaitis of Williamstown; a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Pam Solomon; a sister, Lee Murphy; three grandchildren, Stacey and her husband Fred, Tracey and Tom; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Madison and Ryan; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Sept. 22 at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
Elizabeth Hull
BURLINGTON — Elizabeth "Betty" Hull, 72, of Burlington Township, died Sept. 24 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly.
Born in Burlington, she was a lifelong area resident. She formerly worked at Joseph Pinto Law Office and then as a bookkeeper for various area banks and businesses. She was an avid bowler, liked collecting antiques, was a Phillies fan, and enjoyed the Jersey shore whenever she was able.
Daughter of the late John and Bertha Hubbs Smith, she is survived by her son, James H. Hull of Florence; two grandchildren, Devon Hull and Ian Hull, both of Atco; and a sister, Dorothy Jack of Burlington.
A memorial service will be held today at 10 a.m. from the McGee Funeral Home, 867 Beverly Road, Burlington, with the Rev. Jackie Lou Everett officiating.
Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.

Grace Marie Eames
HARBOURTON — Grace Marie Eames, 96, died Saturday at home.
Born in Long Island, N.Y., she had resided in Harbourton since 1954.
She was a medical secretary for her late husband, Dr. William N. Eames, who died in 1996.
She enjoyed painting, gardening, and the ocean at her home on Long Beach Island.
Daughter of the late Marcus B. and Marie Byrnes Ketcham, wife of the late Dr. William N. Eames, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William K. and June Ann Eames of Melbourne, Fla. and Terry and Maryann Eames of Cinnaminson; a daughter, Suzanne Tuccillo of Bordentown; and seven grandchildren, Ross, Lisa, June, and Kristopher Eames, and Mark, Luke, Marie and Vivian Tuccillo.
A memorial service was held Wednesday at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Hom,e 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington, with the Rev. William McQuoid officiating.
Interment was private.
Willard E. Hammond
HAMILTON — Willard E. "Bill" Hammond, 94, died Sept. 21 at his home.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong resident of Trenton and Hamilton Township and was a graduate of Trenton High School, class of 1929.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in North Africa, Sicily and Italy.
He retired on June 30, 1985, as a printer, from All-State Legal Supply Company in Cranford after many years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lillian Hammond of Yardville; a daughter, Linda Ludwig of Yardville and her partner, Paul Lynn of Robbinsville; a grandson, John Ludwig Jr. and his wife Danielle of Bordentown; his nephews, Dean Hammond and his wife Peggy of Levittown, Pa., Don Hammond and his wife Sandy of Stockton and Don Ciccone and his wife MaryAnn of Bordentown; his nieces Colleen Hammond and Texas, Marge Nocera of Robbinsville, Adeline Carnevale of Hamilton as well as many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral was held Saturday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, 555 Yardville-Allentown Road, Yardville.
Interment followed in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing.
Jennie V. Leone
HAMILTON — Jennie V. Leone, 87, died Sept. 19 at the Mercer County Geriatric Center in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, Ms. Leone was a lifelong area resident. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Trenton.
Daughter of the late Frank and Jennie Urciouli Leone and sister of the late Pasquale Leone, Jeanette Jasinski and Virginia Onofri, she is survived by one brother-in-law, Stanley Jasinski of Mercerville; one sister-in-law, Anna Leone; nieces and nephews, Pat Leone of Va., Delores Houck of Md., Angelo Onofri Jr. of Hamilton, Walter Jasinski of Bordentown, JoAnn Jasinski of Lawrenceville, Gerald Leone of Ewing, and Frances Hammer of Fla.; several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Saturday from the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Church of the Sacred Heart, 343 Broad St., Trenton.
Entombment was in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Anna Walker
TRENTON — Anna Walker, 68, of Trenton, died Sept. 19 at her home.
She was born in Trenton and had resided there all of her life.
Daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Saranin, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Tracy Walker of Bordentown; two granddaughters, Devan and Madison Walker; two nephews and their spouses, Steven and Antonette Saranin and James and Cherie Saranin, all of Bordentown; great-nieces and nephews, Alicia, Ashley, Logan, Olivia, and Steven; and a sister-in-law, Emma Staranin of Trenton.
Private services were under the direction of the Huber-Moore Funeral Home in Bordentown.
Elizabeth Fuzy Borosko
MONROE TOWNSHIP — Elizabeth Fuzy Borosko, 91, died Sept. 18 at her home in Monroe Township.
She was born and raised in Princeton Junction and for the last 10 years had been a resident of Monroe Township.
Mrs. Borosko retired after many years of service with ETS of Princeton. She was a member of Nassau Presbyterian Church of Princeton and was a charter member of the West Windsor Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Wife of the late Frank Borosko, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, F. Martin and Carolyn Borosko of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; a former daugher-in-law, Dolores Borosko of Bordentown; three grandchildren, Martin L. Borosko of Montclair, Mark A. Borosko of East Windsor, and Tom Hegarty of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; and two great-grandchildren, Colin and Aiden Borosko.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, 40 Vandeventer Ave., Princeton.
Burial was in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Princeton.
