Grace Anderson, 77, of Jamesburg, died Thursday, Sept. 28, at Innova Health and Rehabilitation at Mt. Laurel.
Born and educated in Thomasville, Ga., she lived in Englishtown for 25 years before relocating to Jamesburg 15 years ago. She was a self-employed domestic. She was a former member of Old Ship of Zion Church, Englishtown.
Her parents, Leroy and Ida (Jones) Kimble, are deceased. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Hall, and son-in-law, Alfred, of Monroeville; two sons, Kenneth Harris of Union and Lawrence Anderson and his wife, Doreen, of Newark; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeannette McCoy of Thomasville, Ga.; a special niece, Ida Mae Miller of Jamesburg; Norman and Gancy Thomas of South River, whom she raised as her own; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Thursday, Oct. 5, at Old Ship of Zion Church, Jamesburg-Englishtown Road (Route 522), Englishtown. Calling hours were offered before the funeral at the church. Interment was held at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. Arrangements were taken care of by Anderson Funeral Service.
