HBA establishes scholarship fund for business students

Proceeds from the sale of the HBA’s 2007 "Our Historic Hopewell" calendar will be used for the scholarships

The Hopewell Business Association (HBA), a community organization, has established a fund to provide college scholarships for Hopewell Valley Central High School business students.
Proceeds from the sale of the HBA’s 2007 "Our Historic Hopewell" calendar will be used for the scholarships. Calendars are available for purchase at the Hopewell Public Library, Princeton Doll and Toy Museum, The Tomato Factory, Your Special Image, PNC Bank and Weidel Realtors.
The calendar features photographs of many Hopewell sites, such as the railroad station, gazebo and library, and includes a brief history of the town.
HBA President Virginia Aris, of the Princeton Doll and Toy Museum, and HBA member Maureen Vaccaro, of Your Special Image, now located in Skillman, collaborated to produce the calendar.
Ms. Vaccaro donated the photography and graphic art work, "because she believes in the positive work of the HBA and wants to help students in their pursuit of business careers. This first, limited-edition calendar has been so well received that plans already are being made for a 2008 edition," Ms. Aris said.
