Library-hosted event seeks donations for Food Pantry
By: Joseph Harvie
Three New Jersey poets will be reading at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Public Library.
The reading is the second installment in the South Brunswick Art Commission’s Poetry Reading Series.
Emanual di Pasquale, of Long Branch, Frank Finale, of Bayville, and Sander Zulauf, of Andover, who co-edited the anthology "The Poets of New Jersey From Colonial to Contemporary," will be reading selected poems from the book.
Mr. Finale said that the trio will read some poems from "The Poets of New Jersey," as well as some of their own pieces, and will also take some questions from the crowd.
In addition, anyone interested in reading their own poems can do so after the three "special guests," conclude their reading.
Although admission to the program is free, the Arts Commission is asking that attendants bring a donation of a non-perishable food item to be given to the township-run Food Pantry.
