Therese Black
Therese E. Black died Wednesday at University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 80.
Born in Germany, she was a Lawrence resident since 1956.
She worked at the Jugtown Luncheonette in Princeton and retired from McLean Engineering of Princeton.
Wife of the late Robert B. Black, she is survived by son and daughter-in-law Benny Joseph and Elaine Jokel, of Colville, Wash.; sisters Gertrude and Matilda, of Germany; sister-in-law Sandra Black Duffy, of West Windsor; mother-in-law Helen M. Black; grandsons Benji and Jason Jokel; two great-grandchildren; and special friend Phyllis Pietras.
The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.

William Sinkewicz Jr.
William J. Sinkewicz Jr., of Lawrence, died Oct. 4 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton. He was 73.
Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Lawrence most of his life.
Mr. Sinkewicz was employed with American Biltrite as a supervisor for 25 years prior to his employment as the housing inspector for Lawrence, where he served for 20 years before retiring in 1998.
He was a member of the Church of St. Ann and had served as an usher at the church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of American Legion Post 458 of Trenton. Mr. Sinkewicz served as a fire policeman with the Lawrence Road Fire Company, was past chairman of the Lawrence Township Recreation Committee, was an A.S.A. umpire, vice-president of the Society Hill Condominium Association and was a member of the Lawrence Township Democratic Club.
Son of the late William J. Sinkewicz Sr. and Josephine Szczepanski Sinkewwicz and brother of the late Anna Mae Krzoz, he is survived by his wife, Marjorie Vieira Sinkewicz; two sons, Michael Sinkewicz and his companion, Kathleen Purdie and Timothy Sinkewicz and his wife, Janet; four grand-daughters, Grace, Teagan, Melissa and Carly Sinkewicz; a sister, Rose LaPenna and her husband, Benjamin; two nephews, Edward and Marion Bacon and Ronald and Susan Krzos and their families and a brother in law, Robert Vieira and his family.
Funeral services were held Monday at at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hamilton.

Konrad Richter Sr.
PENNINGTON Konrad J. Richter, of Pennington, died Oct. 4 at the Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center. He was 85.
Born in Bridgeport, Conn., he resided in Lawrence before moving to Pennington.
Mr. Richter retired as chief engineer with Heinemann Electric Company, formerly of Lawrence, after 30 years of service. Prior to his career at Heinemann, he worked for General Electric in Bridgeport, Conn.
Mr. Richter was a navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a former Lector with the Church of St. Ann in Lawrence and with the Church of St. James in Pennington. He was member and past president of the Lawrence Township Lions Club.
Son of the late Frank and Pauline Timpko Richter, brother-in-law of the late Harry Brown, and husband of the late Dorothea Schlottenmeier Richter, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Betty Ann O’Donnell Richter; a daughter and son-in-law, Adrienne and Tom Trivella; six sons and daughters-in-law, Henry and Amy Richter, Mark and Chris Richter, Kurt and Jan Richter, Konrad and Lori Richter, Kenneth and Kristen Richter, and Matthew and Karen Richter; 12 grandchildren, Jason, Andrew, Audrey, John, Jeffrey, Anna, Michael, James, Katelynn, Eric, Kyle and Meaghan; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Eugene and Nancy Richter and Edmund Richter; two sisters in-law and their spouses, Rudy and Helen Anderson and Martin and Trudy Brown Donze; and a brother-in-law and his spouse, Daniel and Jean O’Donnell.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at the Church of St. James, Pennington. Burial was private.

Jennifer Soden
ALLENTOWN Jennifer Lynn Soden died Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. She was 36.
Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Hamilton most of her life.
Ms. Soden was employed as a systems analyst with Bristol Myers Squibb.
She was a graduate of Hamilton High School West, class of 1988 and attended Eastern Connecticut State University and Mercer County Community College.
Sister of the late Mark Soden and granddaughter to the late Otto and Edith Kraus and Arthur and Edna Soden, Ms. Soden is survived by her parents, Robert A. and Marianne Kraus Soden of Hamilton; sister Pamela Marino and fiancée Nick Grigas, of Hillsborough; brother Edward E. and wife Kelly Soden, of Hamilton; and nieces Christina Marino, Madison Soden and nephew Marc Soden.
She is also survived by aunts Susan and husband Jerry Repko, of Pennsylvania; uncle Erich Kraus, of Lawrence; and Patricia Carpenter, of Colorado; cousins Erika and husband Mike Dinoto, Matthew and wife Nancy Repko, Erich and wife Jennifer Kraus, Hilary and husband Erik Kase and Bob Bowker and Lynn Bowker; and brother-in-law Robert Marino, of Hillsborough.
Funeral services were Friday at the Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, Hamilton. Burial was in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.

Nina Keel
PENNINGTON Nina Leona Davis Keel, of Pennington, died Sept. 22 at the Stony Brook Assisted Living, Pennington. She was 88.
Born in Padacua, Texas, she was a long-time teacher for the Jefferson County Public Schools in Alabama.
Mrs. Keel was president of the local chapter for the American Association of University Women. She was active in the Texas Women’s University. She attended the Pennington United Methodist Church, in Pennington.
Daughter of the late John Floyd and Beulah Daniel Davis; wife of the late Hugh Nash Keel Jr. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Hugh Nash Keel III and Keiko Keel, of Hawaii; James and Tracey Keel, of Watertown, N.Y.; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Alan Flesher, of Lawrence; five grandchildren, Scott Flesher, Dan Flesher, Lisa Keel, Kirsten Stevenson and Danielle Siegrist; two great-grandchildren, Alex Burt and Ashley Stevenson.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Oct. 21 at the Pennington United Methodist Church, 60 South Main St., Pennington. Interment will be private in Texas. There will be no calling hours.
