Sheryl Carraher

   HILLSBOROUGH — Sheryl (Greenstein) Carraher died Oct. 1 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 49.
   Born in Newark, she lived in Somerville and then moved to Hillsborough more than 20 years ago.
   Mrs. Carraher was employed as the director of Choral Activity at Montgomery High School since 1996.
   She was a member of Temple Beth-El in Hillsborough.
   A sister, Dana Green, died in 1998.
   Surviving are her husband, John J. Carraher; two daughters, Darin and Ali Carraher; and a sister, Ellen Thomann.
   Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at Temple Beth-El in Hillsborough. Interment was in Temple Sholom Cemetery in Bridgewater.
   Arrangements were by Bruce C. VanArsdale Funeral Home in Somerville.
   Memorial contributions may be made to: The Sheryl G. Carraher Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o John J. Carraher, 38 Fleming Drive, Hillsborough, 08844. The fund will be used for choral music senior students graduating from Montgomery High School.
