The Allentown High School boys’ soccer team defeated Trenton, 6-2, back on Oct. 3 to improve to 7-3-1 on the season.
The game was tied at 2-2 at the half, but then Allentown pulled away.
"We had a talk at halftime to remind them they were sitting back and relaxing too much," Allentown Coach Tigana Dalce said. "We needed to be more aggressive."
Piero Mancini and Austin Neuberger both finished with a pair of goals. Chris Kaztman and Dan Quintana also scored. Brennen Neuberger, Ryan Provost and Quintana had assists.
Allentown was scheduled to face Nottingham this past Tuesday. Allentown will play at West Windsor North today at 4 p.m. and at Princeton Day School on Friday at 4:15 p.m. Allentown will host Hamilton on Monday at 4 p.m. and Hopewell on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

With three losses this past week, the New Egypt High School boys’ soccer team fell to 0-3 on the season.
New Egypt was defeated by Holy Cross (6-0), Burlington City (2-1) and Bordentown (7-0) this past week.
New Egypt was scheduled to face Florence yesterday. It will host Mercer Christian Friday at 3:45 p.m., Riverside Saturday at 11 a.m. and Maple Shade Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.

West Windsor-Plainsboro South beat the Robbinsville boys’ varsity soccer, 9-1, last Friday. Nick Wilczynski made 16 saves in a losing cause and Alex Giaquinto scored the Ravens’ only goal.
Robbinsville (0-11) was scheduled to have hosted Princeton this past Tuesday. Today (Thursday) Robbinsville is scheduled at Hamilton. Robbinsville is scheduled at Riverside on Friday. It is scheduled to host Ewing next Tuesday.
