Angelina Siconolfi

   Angelina J. "Angie" (Vasta) Siconolfi, of Monroe, died Monday, Oct. 9, at her home in Greenbriar at Whittingham.
   Born in New Brunswick, she moved to North Brunswick where she lived for 32 years before moving to Greenbriar in 1994.
   She was a New Brunswick High School graduate. She was first employed by Pathe Industries in Newark before working for Rutgers University in the data processing department and finally as a manager of payroll services before her retirement in 1989. She was an active member of the Silver Knights and the Women’s League of Rutgers, as well as the Italian-American League at Greenbriar. Ms. Siconolfi was most proud of her Italian heritage. She also served for many years as a trustee on the New Jersey State Pension Board. Angie was a devoted parishioner of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick.
   Her parents, Joseph and Mary Vasta, are deceased. Her husband of 20 years, Albert, died in 1973. Her sister, Mary Vasta Stoltenberg, and her two brothers, Joseph and Sebastian Vasta, also are deceased. She is survived by her nieces, Mary Powers and her husband, Ed, of High Bridge and Linda Fenkel Sova of Fultonville, N.Y.; and her nephews, Joseph Stoltenberg and his wife, Susan, of Jackson, Carl Stoltenberg and his wife, Diane, of Skillman, Joseph Vasta and his wife, Cindy, of Edison, Tom Poklikuha and his wife, Alanna, of Venice, Fla., and Allen Fenkel and his wife, Barbara, of North Brunswick; her godson, John Feterik of Edison; and many loving grandnieces and grandnephews.
   Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. today (Friday), Oct. 13, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township, followed by a 9 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick, followed by interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Visitation was held the day before at the funeral home.
