Luigi Sardella

   HIGHTSTOWN — Luigi Sardella, 84, died Oct. 4 in the Cranbury Center-Genesis Elder Care facility in Monroe Township.
   Born in Torre del Greco, Naples, Italy, he was a resident of Hightstown for many years.
   Mr. Sardella formerly owned Luigi’s Restaurant in Hightstown. He retired from Mr. B’s Pizza in East Windsor.
   He is survived by wife Concetta Matteo Sardella; sister Concetta Gaglione of Italy; his brother-in-law and his wife, John and Theresa Matteo of Hightstown; sister-in-law Josephine Sardella of Brooklyn, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
   Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
   Arrangements were under the direction of Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
Patrick Zitani Sr.

   HIGHTSTOWN — Patrick Zitani Sr., 66, died Sunday.
   Predeceased by his parents, Virginia and Frank Zitani Sr., he is survived by three sisters and two brothers; children Frank, Patrick, Mario, Laura, Lonna, Debra Griffin, Patricia Diaz, and Jeannine Sciancalopore; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
   He will be cremated.
John C. Hager

   WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP — John C. Hager Jr., 50, of Robbinsville, died Tuesday in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
   Born in Staten Island, NY, Mr. Hager had been a longtime Mercer County area resident. He was a graduate of Hightstown High School and Rider University, and received his master’s degree in telecommunications from Stevens Institute of Technology.
   He was formerly employed with ATT/Lucent Technologies and was employed at the time of his death with Eastern Research/Sycamore Networks. He received an invitation, because of his profession, to be included in Who’s Who of New York.
   He was a manager and was active in the Hamilton Little Lads Basketball and Baseball, and Nottingham Babe Ruth Baseball Leagues.
   He is survived by two daughters and a son, Amanda K., Abigail L. and Alexander M. Hager, all of Hamilton; his mother and stepfather, Sherry M. and Teddy Kottakhs; his sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Jose Arevalo of East Windsor; brother Joseph P. of Pennsylvania; his favorite uncle, John O. Wall of Delaware; nephews Thomas O., Joseph P. Jr. and John T. Hager; and his loving partner, Sharon Hurley of Robbinsville.
   Family and friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. The funeral service will be held at 8 p.m.
