HILLSBOROUGH Jeffrey J. Stainner died Oct. 14 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 61.
Born in Somerville, he grew up in Manville and moved to Hillsborough in 1971.
Mr. Stainner was a member of the NJ Builders Association and the NJ Realtors Association.
He served in the US Army in Vietnam and earned a Bronze Star.
He was a member and Eucharistic Minister at Mary, Mother of God Church in Hillsborough.
He was a member of the American Legion post 1000.
A sister, Annice Zimmerman, died in 2006.
Surviving are his wife, Bernadine (Drong) Stainner; a son, Stephen of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Kelly Sizelove of Winter Garden, Fla.; two brothers, Arthur and Michael of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; two sisters, Vivian Siegal of Busch Kill Falls, Pa., and Diane Cheslock of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Oct. 18 from Hillsborough Funeral Home in Hillsborough, followed by a Mass in Mary, Mother of God Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
