Poinsettia sale to help fund PHS choir trip to Sweden

The Princeton High School Choir is sponsoring a holiday poinsettia sale to raise funds for its trip to Sweden in February.
The PHS students will sing with the choir at the Adolf Fredriks Music School in Stockholm, perform at the cathedral in Vaxio and give a concert in Uppsala with the choir from Katedralskola, one of the oldest secondary schools in Sweden. The Katedralskola choir will host the PHS contingent during the trip.
The choir’s holiday poinsettia sale helps raise funds so that every member of the choir is able to take advantage of the trip.
"We do not let the financial part of the tour dictate whether a student is able to travel," said choir director Charles Sundquist.
Top quality, hand-selected poinsettias will be supplied by Ace Greenhouses, a New Jersey nursery, in a variety of colors and sizes ranging from 4½ to 10 inches.
Orders are due by Nov. 8 and can be picked up 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Princeton High School Choir Room. The entrance is off Walnut Lane. All business orders include free delivery.
Order forms can be obtained from the Princeton Public Library or by calling (609) 924-5883.
