Dario Stefani
   Dario Stefani, 81, died Monday at Hunterdon Medical Center.
   Born in Ohio, Mr. Stefani was a resident of Hopewell for 76 years.
   He was a self-employed contractor and a veteran of the US Army.
   Preceded in death by his parents John and Emma Stefani and his sister Ida Stefani, he is survived by his wife Anneliese Stefani; a brother Lou Stefani of Chesterfield; a nephew John Stefani of Chesterfield; and special friends Ted and Jayne Petrie of Hopewell Township.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Hopewell.
   Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
   Calling hours will be Thursday from 8:30-10:30 a.m. at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, 71 E. Prospect St., Hopewell.
Virginia M. Metzler
   Virginia M. Metzler, 86, of Pennington and formerly of Manchester Township, died Friday at Stony Brook Assisted Living in Pennington.
   Born in New York City, she was a teacher for the Hudson County School System. She was a graduate of Mt. Saint Vincent’s College in Tuxedo Park, N.Y. She was a member of St. James Roman Catholic Church, Pennington.
   Daughter of the late Andrew and Margaret A. Martin Heindel and wife of the late Eugene C. Metzler, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Pegi Metzler of Cutler Ridge, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea M. and Thomas G. Veal of Irvine, Calif., and Shelley and John A. Rogener of Lawrenceville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Richard McCrea of Ridgewood and Martha and Edward Meyer of Indian Lakes, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, Edward Scheld of Manchester; a sister-in-law, Rita Heindel of Denville; six grandchildren, Thomas and Kevin Veal, Katherine Cardenas, John, Elizabeth and Mary Kate Rogener; and five great-grandchildren.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington.
   Burial will be in the William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
   Friends may call Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle.

Walter Joseph Bula
   Walter Joseph Bula, 83, of Pennington, died Monday at home.
   Born in New Britain, Conn., he resided in Brooklyn, N.Y. for 43 years, Clark for 20 years, Aberdeen for 10 years and Lawrenceville for nine years before moving to Pennington.
   He retired in 1983 as the warehouse manager for Farrell Lines in New York City.
   Mr. Bula was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and served with the 8th Air Force in the European Theatre of Operations.
   Son of the late Joseph and Rosalia Kompa Bula and husband of the late Antoinette V. Salemme Bula, he is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah M. Bula and Christina and Stephen Petruska; and a granddaughter Elizabeth A. Petruska and her partner Andrew Benore.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at noon in the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road in Lawrenceville.
   Burial will be in the Lawrenceville Cemetery.
   Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville.
