Thomas Egan

   Thomas Patrick Egan, 76, of Kendall Park, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
   He was born in Astoria, N.Y., and lived in Kendall Park for over 30 years. He graduated from Villanova University, Class of 1952. Mr. Egan was the controller for the Steinbach Company in Asbury Park. He was also a licensed real estate agent and had worked for Barrood Realtors in Kendall Park. He was an Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War. Mr. Egan was an avid sports fan and a loving father and grandfather.
   He is survived by his children, Thomas of Oregon, John of California, Geralyn Faynor of Hillsborough and Carolan Egan of Nevada; his sister, Helen Waite of New York; and his grandchildren, Martin and Amanda Faynor.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 Route 206, Hillsborough, and were followed by a Mass at St. Augustine of Canterbury R.C. Church, Kendall Park. Burial took place at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a veterans organization of your choice in Mr. Egan’s name.
