Additional early-morning express commuter trains set for New York run

   Two new early morning NJ Transit express trains from Trenton to New York will begin service Monday in an effort to add seats during peak-period service.
   The trains will depart Princeton Junction at 5:23 a.m. and 5:51 a.m., operate express to Newark and arrive in New York at 6:16 a.m. and 6:44 a.m., respectively.
   In addition, the transit agency will add a new morning reverse-peak train from New York to Trenton, departing New York at 9:01 a.m., operating express from Newark, and arriving at Princeton Junction at 9:51 a.m.
   For holiday shoppers, four new "Holiday Express" trains will run from Trenton to New York on Saturdays and Sundays through Jan. 13, except holidays. The departure times from Princeton Junction and arrival times in New York are as follows: 8:33 a.m.-9:40 a.m., 9:33 a.m.-10:39 a.m., 10:33 a.m.-11:39 a.m. and 11:33 a.m.-12:39 p.m.
   For the return trip, four new trains will be added with departure times from New York and arrival times at Princeton Junction as follows: 4:09 p.m.-5:13 p.m., 5:09 p.m.-6:17 p.m., 6:09 p.m.-7:13 p.m. and 7:09 p.m.-8:11 p.m.
   No additional Princeton shuttle "Dinky" service is scheduled to service the new weekday and weekend trains, according to the new timetable.
   There have been some additional weekday and weekend adjustments in train schedules, according to the transit agency. New timetables are currently available at train stations, according to NJ Transit, or may be viewed at www.njtransit.com.
