Frances Giangiobbe

   Frances Pellecchia Giangiobbe, 92, of Monroe, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Summerhill Nursing Home, Old Bridge.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Ms. Giangiobbe lived in Brooklyn and Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Monroe 18 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1965, she was a shopkeeper for Frank’s Grocery in Brooklyn for 20 years. Ms. Giangiobbe was a communicant of St. Bartholomew’s R.C. Church, East Brunswick.
   Her husband, Frank, died in 1984. Ms. Giangiobbe was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by two daughters, Marie Fittipaldi of Staten Island, and Vivian Santoni and her husband, Victor, of Monroe; a sister, Rose Campanella of Brooklyn; four grandchildren, Lisa Kullman, Laura Stivala, Angela Giordano and Frank Fittipaldi; and six great-grandchildren, Vincent, Victor, Raymond, Mark, Kayla and Christopher.
   Funeral services will be 8:45 a.m. today (Friday), Oct. 27, from Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew’s R.C. Church, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA of Central Jersey Hospice, 141 Bodman Place, Red Bank, N.J. 07701-9978.
