Nellie Lattig

   BEACHWOOD — Nellie Winona Lattig, 84, of Beachwood died Monday, Oct. 16, at the Holiday Care Center in Toms River.
   Born in Lambertville she lived in Hawthorne before moving to Toms River in 2001.
   Mrs. Lattig was a homemaker.
   She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Toms River.
   Her first husband, John Thornton, died in 1945. Her second husband, Frederick M. Lattig, died in 2004.
   Surviving are two sons, John Thornton of Toms River and Frederick C. Lattig of Beachwood; one stepson, Glenn Lattig of Morgan Hill, Calif.; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Brian, Victoria and Elizabeth; and five great-grandchildren, Dylan, Weston, Alyssa, Shane and Devin.
   She was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Barbara Prior, in 2001.
   Funeral services were held Sunday at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, Toms River. Burial was Monday at the Beemerville (N.J.) Cemetery.
Kenneth Palmer

   STOCKTON — Kenneth M. Palmer, 82, died Sunday, Oct. 29.
   He was a lifelong resident of Stockton.
   Mr. Palmer served in the Navy during World War II.
   He was a member of the Stockton Volunteer Fire Company and an ambulance driver for the Stockton Rescue Squad for more than 25 years.
   Mr. Palmer was a station master for the Pennsylvania Railroad and then Amtrak before retiring in 1986.
   He was the son of the late Michael and Alice Gordon Palmer and brother of the late Raymond Palmer.
   Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Marge Goccia Palmer; one daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Paul D. Klempert; one sister, Helen Palmer Wheless; three sisters-in-law, Rose Nanni, Sue Whipple and Mickey Palmer; two brothers-in-law, Joe Goccia and Henry Wheless; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services will be held today (Nov. 2) at 11 a.m. at the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville. Calling hours will be today from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery.

Howard French

   PRINCETON — Howard French, 76, of Princeton died Monday, Oct. 2, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
   He is survived by two brothers, Paul French of West Amwell Township and William French of Phillipsburg; one sister, Sarah Falzone of Souderton, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were private and under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville.
