   Keith C. Riker, 27, of Lincoln Park, was charged with driving while intoxicated after he crashed his 1995 Oldsmobile into a tree at the intersection of Gemini and Capricorn drives at 11:11 p.m. on Oct. 22, police said.
   The responding officer saw that the vehicle had heavy front-end damage and asked Mr. Riker if he was injured. While speaking with him, the officer detected the odor of alcohol.
   Mr. Riker failed the field sobriety test. At the station, his blood alcohol level registered 0.12 on a Breathalyzer test. New Jersey law prohibits driving with a BAC of 0.08 percent or above.
   Mr. Riker was charged with driving while intoxicated, and careless driving.

   Mikhail Malinine, 21, of Downbury Court, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police responded to a report of a 2004 silver Nissan on fire after a one-car accident on New Centre Road at 11:09 p.m. on Oct. 17.
   While speaking with Mr. Malinine, the officer detected the odor of alcohol, police said. Mr. Malinine failed the field sobriety test and was taken into custody, police said.
   Mr. Malinine was charged with driving while intoxicated, and careless driving.

   Jaasmine Beatrice Calliste, 20, of Orange, was charged with possession of a narcotic after an officer saw her run across New Amwell Road and climb into a 1998 black Civic stopped in the road at 2:26 a.m. on Oct. 18.
   The officer followed directly behind the vehicle noticed that there appeared to be a small TV and multiple air fresheners obstructing the driver’s view. He stopped the vehicle, and while speaking with the driver, Kendall S. Clark, 33, of Union, the officer observed that the TV was actually a GPS and two fresheners hung from the rearview.
   The officer also observed greenish-brown vegetative matter on the driver’s side floor, and asked Mr. Clark if the K-9 unit were to sniff the car whether the dogs would find anything. Police said Mr. Clark told them Ms. Calliste had an eEcstasy pill in her purse. The vegetative matter on the floor was determined to be cigar shavings.
   Ms. Calliste was transported to the station, where she was charged with third- degree possession of a controlled substance.
   Mr. Clark was charged with driving with an obstructed view and delaying traffic.

   Richard Johnson, 42, of Branchburg, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a Wawa employee reported a potential drunken driver in a 1996 white Ford Taurus leaving the store parking lot at 1:41 a.m. on Oct. 24.
   An officer parked at Getty gas station on Route 206 spotted Mr. Johnson’s vehicle traveling south on Route 206, and observed he wasn’t wearing a seat belt, police said. The officer also saw the vehicle swerve twice across the centerline and make an illegal left turn onto Andria Avenue, police said.
   The officer stopped the vehicle and detected the odor of alcohol on Mr. Johnson, who then failed the field sobriety test, police said.
   Mr. Johnson, who initially gave the officer a false name, was charged with hindering apprehension, police said. He was also charged with refusal to submit a Breathalyzer sample, failure to produce registration, driving with a suspended license, being an unlicensed driver, failure to wear a seat belt, failure to observe the signals, failure to keep right and driving while intoxicated, police said.
   Bail was set at $1,000.

   Zachary Bijaczyk, 18, of Mercerville, and Justin Skirzynski, 18, of Trenton, were charged with being under the influence of marijuana at 10:05 a.m. on Oct. 22 after an officer stopped the 1998 black Chevy Cavalier they were traveling in on Route 206.
   The officer pulled over the vehicle on Brooks Boulevard near Nottingham Way after he observed that both the driver and the passenger were not wearing seat belts.
   As the officer approached the vehicle, the two young men were spraying cologne vigorously. The officer asked if there was any marijuana in the vehicle. Mr. Bijaczyk said there was a marijuana cigarette on the driver’s side floor and a black baton in between the driver’s side door and the seat, police said.
   Mr. Bijaczyk was charged with fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and bail was set at $2,000 with a 10 percent option. Mr. Bijaczyk posted bail.
   Mr. Bijaczyk was also charged with possession of marijuana, being under the influence of narcotics, failure to wear a seat belt and possession of a controlled substance in a motor vehicle.
   Mr. Skirzynski was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance and failure to wear a seat belt.

   David Schieni, 27, of Belle Mead, was charged with driving while intoxicated after police responded to a report of a potential drunken driver going through the drive-through at McDonald’s on Route 206 at 10:40 p.m. Oct. 19.
   An officer followed Mr. Schieni’s 2006 white Ford pickup as it traveled southbound on Route 206 and observed the vehicle drifting with its right tires entirely out of the lane, police said. The officer stopped the vehicle just north of Raider Boulevard.
   Mr. Schieni exhibited a Texas driver’s license. While speaking with Mr. Schieni, the officer detected the odor of alcohol, police said. Mr. Schieni failed the field sobriety test, police said.
   Mr. Schieni was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain the lane, reckless driving, failure to exhibit a registration card, driving with touring privileges expired, and refusal to submit a breath sample.
   Zachary J. Finch, 26, of Willow Road, was charged with driving while intoxicated after an officer observed his 1995 white Mercury driving erratically on Route 206 at 2:10 a.m. on Oct. 20, police said..
   The officer stopped the vehicle on Hamilton Road and detected the odor of alcohol while speaking with Mr. Finch, who then failed the field sobriety test, police said. At the station, Mr. Finch was administered the Breathalyzer test and his blood alcohol level was determined to be 0.16.
   Mr. Finch was charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving.
