Voting to take place next week

Voters will get to choose who will serve on the Township Committee on Tuesday.
Also on the ballot are candidates for U.S. Senate, House of Representatives and two county freeholder seats.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Locally, incumbent Democrats Thomas Panconi Jr. and Pari Stave are seeking re-election against challenging Republicans Robert Smithers and Diane Stasi for two three-year seats on the committee.
Elsewhere, incumbent Democrats James Polos and John Pulomena are running against Republicans Geoffrey Champion and Andrew Tidd for the two, three-year county freeholder seats.
For U.S. Senate, voters will choose between incumbent Democrat Robert Menendez, Republican Thomas Kean Jr., Poor People’s Campaign candidate Daryl Mikell Brooks, God We Trust candidate J.M. Carter, Libertarian Len Flynn, Legalize Marijuana Party candidate Edward Forchion, the Socialist Workers Party’s Angela Lariscy, Socialist Party USA candidate Gregory Pason and Solidarity Defend Life Candidate Leonard Smith. The sSenate seat is a six-year term.
For U.S. House of Representatives, voters will choose between incumbent Democrat Rush Holt and Republican Joseph Sinagra for a two-year term.
All voting will take place at Town Hall. District 1 voters will vote in the Boy Scout Room in Town Hall. Voters from Districts 2 and 3 will vote in the Recital Room in Town Hall.
