Lifelong Princeton resident
   
Emma Marcoline Embley died Saturday at University Medical Center at Princeton. She was 81.
   She was a lifelong Princeton resident.
   Prior to raising a family, she was employed at Educational Testing Service and Princeton University’s Firestone Library.
   She was a 1944 graduate of Princeton High School where she excelled in softball, track and basketball. In 2004, she was inducted into the inaugural Princeton High School Athlete Hall of Fame.
   After high school, she played fast-pitch softball with the Pielettes softball team.
   She was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church and was a member of both the Columbiettes and the Catholic Daughters of America.
   She was an avid New York Yankees fan.
   Daughter of the late Angelina and Andrew Marcoline, wife of the late Richard P. Embley Sr. and mother-in-law of the late James R. Brooks, she is survived by son Richard P. Embley Jr.; daughter Barbara E. Brooks; sister Julia Marcoline; grandchildren Jennifer, Jacquelyn and Christopher Brooks and John and Julie Embley; uncle John Rossi; sister-in-law Hope Bucci; and many nieces and cousins.
   The funeral will be 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Kimble Funeral Home, 1 Hamilton Ave., Princeton.
   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton
   Interment will follow in Princeton Cemetery.
   Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Longtime West Windsor resident
   
WEST WINDSOR — Louise W. Green died Oct. 31 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. She was 80.
   Born in Trenton, she and her husband were longtime residents of West Windsor.
   She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas J. Green Jr.; children Linda Emmons of Virginia, Thomas J. Green III of Hammonton and Lorie Green of Ewing; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
   All services will be private and under the direction of the Saul Memorial Home, Trenton.

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Noel Dennis Stafford Jr. died Oct. 8 at Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa, Fla. He was 69.
   Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in Haddonfield and the Harbourton area of Hopewell Township and was a Pennington resident for 19 years before moving to Boston in 1981.
   He completed a long career in banking and the investment industry as vice president of research and corporate finance at Advest Inc. in Hartford, Conn.
   He attended Hopewell Valley schools and graduated from George School, Newtown, Pa. He received a bachelor’s degree in 1958 from Amherst College.
   Following four years as a Navy intelligence officer, he worked several years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and The Bank of New York before becoming assistant vice president at the American Stock Exchange, where he worked for a decade. He then worked in the brokerage field, first with Burgess & Leith in Boston and later at Advest Inc.
   He enjoyed tennis, sailing, canoeing, swimming, hiking and jogging and maintained retirement homes in Maine and Florida. He was actively involved in the church throughout his life.
   Son of the late Noel D. and Eleanor Stafford, brother of the late Craig Stafford, he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Catherine Stafford; daughters and sons-in-law Karen L. and John Ferguson and Cynthia E. and Robert Derrenbacker Jr.; brother and sister-in-law Brian and Ann Stafford; grandchildren Nathanial and Elizabeth Ferguson and Chloe and John Derrenbacker; and eight nieces and nephews.
   A memorial celebration of his life will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at Westerly Road Church, 25 Westerly Road, Princeton.
