Princeton Veterans Day ceremony set Saturday

The Spirit of Princeton Committee will hold the annual Veterans Day ceremony 11 a.m. Saturday at the site of All Veterans Monument at the corner of Nassau and Mercer streets.
Retired Marine Corps Lt. Col. Brooks Dyer will be the master of ceremony.
Thomas Hartmann, longtime Princeton resident, Rutgers University professor emeritus and decorated World War II combat pilot, will be the featured speaker.
Music will be provided by members of the Blawenberg Band and the Princeton Girl Choir.
The Marine Corps detachment from Trenton will provide a color guard and will be joined by a Revolutionary War re-enactor.
Richard Armstrong, Princeton resident, World War II veteran and Princeton Theological Seminary professor emeritus, will offer a benediction.
The traditional timing of the ceremony is set to coincide with the exact moment the World War I armistice went into effect, signaling peace throughout the world.
