Joseph Tobish
Joseph B. Tobish, of Lawrence, died Monday at Capital Health System’s Mercer Campus. He was 87.
Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Tobish was co-owner of the Nassau Shoe Tree, formerly of Princeton and Sea Girt. He was a graduate of The Lawrenceville School, class of 1937. He went on to the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, graduating in 1941.
Mr. Tobish was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II and an avid golfer.
Son of the late Theodore and Mae E. Smith Tobish, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jane Tobish; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Christopher "Kip" and Lynne Tobish, of Newtown, Pa.; Jonathan and Jody Tobish, of Ewing; J. Brock and Kristie Tobish, of Columbia, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Liza, Samantha, Leslie, Bryce and Savannah; and a brother and sister-in-law, Theodore and Mary Lou Tobish, of Newtown, Pa.
Funeral service was Wednesday at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, Ewing. Burial was private.

Chester Kolczynski
Chester R. Kolczynski died Sunday at the St. Joseph’s Residence at Morris Hall, Lawrence. He was 87.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Kolczynski was a lifelong Trenton, Ewing and Lawrence resident.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, who served as tech sergeant during World War II in the 110th Combat Infantry division, fighting in the battles of Normandy Invasion, Northern France, Rhineland and through Central Europe. He was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star for Heroic Achievement fighting in Germany.
Mr. Kolczynski retired in 1981 after 27 years as the assistant manager for Colonial Cadillac. He was a member of the American Legion, North Trenton Post 458, the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 3525 and the B.P.O. Elks, Hamilton Lodge 2262.
Son of the late John and Martha Zychlinska Kolczynski, husband of the late Sophie Stefanowicz Kolczynski, and brother of the late Casimir Kolczynski, Carl Kolczynski, Adele Taylor and Sally Gulden, he is survived by his two sisters, Irene Tucci of Rochester, N.H.; Henrieta Hubal, of Ewing; three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Robert and Katherine Kolczynski, of Cedar Run; John and Kathleen Kolczynski, of Spring Hill, Fla.; Walter and Shiela Krolikowski, of Ewing; sister-in-law Ethel Kolczynski, of Trenton; many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
The funeral will be held 8 a.m. today at the Winowicz Funeral Chapel, 865 Brunswick Ave., Trenton. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 9 a.m. in St. Hedwig’s Church, Trenton. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, St. Joachim’s Patio, Hamilton Township.
Marion Ranke
Marion C. Ranke, of Lawrence, died Nov. 2 at Capital Health System’s Mercer Campus. She was 75.
Born in Trenton, she resided most of her life in Lawrence. Mrs. Ranke retired in 1994 after 10 years of service with the New Jersey State Lottery Commission.
Daughter of the late Paul and Sophie Lukaszewski Nerwinski, wife of the late H. Bill Ranke, mother of the late David R. Ranke and sister of the late Joseph, John, Herman, and Pete Nerwinski, Genevieve Stumpo and Frances Ozga, she is survived by her son, Wayne Ranke and his wife, Denise; a daughter, Joanne Franks and her husband, Paul, all of Lawrence; three grandchildren, Kristin and Steven Ranke and Kelli Anne Franks; a brother, Frank Nerwinski and his wife, Phyllis; three sisters, Veronica Sparra, Helen Balla and Anne Nerwinski; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Trenton. Burial was in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.

James Boszak
HOPEWELL James E. Boszak died Friday, Nov. 3 at home. He was 58.
Born in Trenton, he resided in Lawrence for most of his life before moving to Hopewell Township. He graduated from Trenton High School.
Mr. Boszak was formerly employed by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. He later went to work, and retired from Lawrence Township as a heavy equipment operator. He was formerly the co-owner of Alray Sporting Goods and a member of the Capital Rod & Gun Club for many years and served as an archery instructor for Mercer County. He was the founder and president of the J.B. Sportsmen’s Club for over 35 years.
Son of the late Joseph S. Boszak, Mr. Boszak is survived by his mother, Veronica Madacsi Boszak; a brother, Ronald J. Boszak; a nephew, Ricky Agabiti; many close friends, and his faithful companion, Max.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in the Church of St. Ann, in Lawrence. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Assumption Church cemetery in Hamilton.
Rose Sanatra
WESTAMPTON Rose Marie Chiacchio Sanatra died Nov. 1 at Samaritan Hospice, Mount Holly.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Sanatra resided in Long Beach Island for over 30 years with her late husband before moving back to the area several years ago.
Wife of the late Anthony J. Sanatra, to whom she was married for 63 years, the daughter of the late Thomas J. Chiacchio and Marian Tanzone Chiacchio and sister of the late Josephine (Goody) Vitella, Mrs. Sanatra is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Jeannie M. and Ron B. Bailey, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., and Judie M. and Robert W. Wilkins, of Westampton; sister and brother-in-law, Loretta and Bill Bocchini, of Trenton; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Aurora Sanatra, of Lawrence; two step-grandchildren, Timothy and Christopher Bailey; one uncle, Peter Tanzone, of Trenton; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many friends; and her baby dog, Buffy.
Funeral services were held Monday at The Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, Trenton. Entombment was in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Cedar Lane, Hamilton.
Edward Dlabik
EWING Edward M. Dlabik Jr., of Ewing, died Sunday at Capital Health System’s Fuld Campus. He was 67.
Born in Trenton and a former Lawrence Township resident, he had resided in Ewing for over 46 years.
Mr. Dlabik was formerly employed by the U.S. Postal Service, in Princeton, and was the former president and co-owner of Princeton Circuit Board, in Hamilton Township.
He was a former member of the U.S. Army Reserve and an avid fisherman.
Son of the late Edward M. Sr. and Justine Antonish Dlabik, father of the late Dawn Marie Dlabik and Ronald Dlabik, Mr. Dlabik is survived by wife Betty Lou Ponting Dlabik, four sons, Edward M. Dlabik III and wife Carolyn; Gregory Dlabik and wife Debbie; Daniel Dlabik and fiancé Kristina Morales; and David Dlabik; two grandchildren, Edward M. Dlabik IV and Allison Dlabik; brother Joseph Dlabik and wife Linda; brother-in-law Thomas Ponting and wife Daisy; sister-in-law Mary Ann Schmitt and husband Richard; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 8 a.m. today at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in the Church of St. Ann, Lawrence. Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.
