BUSINESS COUNCIL
   David S. Neufeld, of the Princeton law firm Markuson & Neufeld and a principal in Integrity Financial Partners of Woodbridge, has become chairman for Synergy Summit, 2006-2007 year.
   The summit is an organization whose delegates come from legal, accounting and financial service organizations around the country. It was formed in response to the convergence of the different disciplines within the financial and wealth preservation and planning community. The Synergy Summit is a unified think tank allowing the leaders of its constituent organizations to coordinate programs, compare notes and offer more value to their respective members.

   Sandra Russell, owner and president of Compass Associates in West Windsor, a business coaching company that helps small and medium-size businesses develop and implement strategies to help them reach their goals, has been accredited by the Institute for Independent Business, a global not-for-profit, research, training and accreditation organization that provides practical advice from its over 3,500 executives.
SERVICE INDUSTRY
   A-1 Limousine announced the addition of its new marketing coordinator Jennifer L. Williams. She will be responsible for the day-to-day marketing strategies, as well as overseeing the development of marketing materials and advertisements and will work closely with the sales team to ensure that overall company goals are met.
   A-1 Limousine Inc., headquartered in West Windsor, is the largest independently owned and operated ground-transportation company in New Jersey.
LAW
   Brian M. Cige has been elected treasurer of New Jersey Lawyer Inc., publisher of weekly "The New Jersey Lawyer." The newspaper is a wholly owned subsidiary of the New Jersey State Bar Association. A member of the board of trustees since 2002, he continues to serve on the board and assist in improving the operation and content of the publication.
   With law offices in Somerville and Princeton, Mr. Cige’s practice, emphasizes employment and labor law on behalf of individuals, civil rights and constitutional litigation.
MARKETING
   Oxford Communications, based in Lambertville and New York City, recently added Matthew Kulcsar as graphic artist. With 10 years experience in graphic design, he was previously art director at Princeton Partners and Princeton- based Opinion Research Corp.
   Mr. Kulcsar lives in Hillsborough with his wife and their three daughters.
   Oxford Communications also announced Laurie Taylor has joined the firm as a public relations account executive. She comes to Oxford from managing her own copy writing service. Ms. Taylor lives in Flemington with her husband and daughter.
HUMAN RESOURCES
   Team Builders Plus in Cherry Hill has recently promoted 12-year-employee Ken Blackwell, of Ewing, from senior executive consultant to director of learning and development. In this capacity, he will guide organizations in creating a more productive work environment.
   Founded in 1991,Team Builders Plus conducts team building, individual, team and organizational assessments, performance coaching, and leadership training for organizations worldwide.
HEALTH & MEDICINE
   Pharmacopeia, which engages in the discovery and development of small molecule therapeutics, recently announced the appointment of Dr. Rene Belder, as vice president, clinical and regulatory affairs.
   Dr. Belder will serve as the key interface, both internally and externally, for all functions related to the clinical product development portfolio.
   Dr. Belder joins Pharmacopeia from Bristol-Myers Squibb.
   During his 19-year tenure At Bristol-Myers Squibb he served as a therapeutic expert in the areas of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, and gained extensive global experience in leading clinical development programs and working with thought leaders in various clinical areas.
   Pharmacopeia has corporate headquarters in Cranbury.
