Stacy C. Swanson

   EWING TOWNSHIP — Stacy C. Swanson, 44, died Thursday after fighting a long battle with cancer.
   Born in Trenton, she grew up in East Windsor before moving to Ewing Township.
   She had worked in the insurance claims department of Highlands Insurance Co. of Ewing and American Re-Insurance in Princeton. She enjoyed travel and exercise.
   Sister of the late Timothy H. Conover, she is survived by husband Andrew B. Swanson; sons Sean and Jesse Goldstein, both of Lawrence Township; parents Clifford and Joan E. Conover of East Windsor; sister Brooke Conover and her husband, Judson Jarvis, of Afton, Va.; brother Clifford E. Conover and his wife, Gloria, of Hamilton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
   A memorial service was held Monday at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, 22 N. Main St., Cranbury.

Virginia A. Meissner

   HAMILTON — Virginia A. Meissner, 67, died Sunday at the Hamilton Continuing Care Center in Hamilton Township.
   Born in Phillipi, W.V., she lived in Plainsboro for many years. She formerly worked for Walker Gordon Farms in Plainsboro. She retired from Datarama in West Windsor. She previously lived at the holiday house of Edgemere Avenue in Plainsboro.
   Wife of the late Curtis Harry Meissner, she is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela Nazario of Hamilton and Patricia and Arnold Kish of Spotswood; son and daughter-in-law Jack and Rose Ann Sinclair of Hamilton Township; three stepchildren and their spouses, Robert and Stephanie Meissner of New Egypt, Curtis and Debby Meissner of Plainsboro, and Jane and Richard Cormack of East Windsor; grandchildren Jennifer, Alysa, Salvador, and Tina Nazario, Ginger Beth Sinclair and Jackie Warren Sinclair Jr., and Justin and Jessica Kish; stepchildren Sophie, Robert, and Joseph Meissner and Kim Cormack and Andrew; and great-grandchildren Jovanni and Joe’l Nazario.
   A funeral service was held Thursday at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, Cranbury. Interment followed in Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury.
Eleanor Schuyler

   EAST WINDSOR — Eleanor L. Schuyler, 84, died Sunday in the University Medical Center at Princeton.
   Born in South Bend, Ind., she lived in Philadelphia and attended Chestnut Hill College where she starred in field hockey, basketball and tennis. In 1984, she moved to East Windsor and had lived there since.
   Ms. Schuyler was a homemaker, a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, and years ago played golf with the Women’s Club at The Peddie School in Hightstown.
   Predeceased by her parents, James and Katherine Lyons, son James W. Schuyler Jr. and brothers Edward and Robert Lyons, she is survived by her husband of 61 years, James W. Schuyler; daughter and son-in-law Patricia and James Boris of Fort Washington, Pa.; son and daughter-in-law Henry and Jeannette Schuyler of Delray Beach, Fla.; daughter Susan Schuyler of King of Prussia, Pa.; grandchildren Kristen Hood, Amy Cratin, Jennifer Stagliano, Amanda, James W. III and Anders Schuyler; and several nieces and nephews.
   A funeral mass was held Thursday in the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church Parish Center, Hightstown.
   Cremation was private. Interment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Anthony Church Building Fund, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown, NJ 08520 and/or American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648-2304.
   Arrangements were by the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, Hightstown.
Marianne Hammond

   CODY, WYO. — Marianne (Schulte) Hammond, 70, died Sept. 7 at West Park Long Term Care Center in Cody, Wyo.
   She was born in 1936 in Trenton to John and Gertrude Schulte. She attended St. Francis Elementary School and graduated from Cathedral High School and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Georgian Court College in Lakewood. She spent many years teaching and working in administration in the Catholic schools in the Garden State- Diocese of Trenton.
   After marrying Paul Hammond, the couple moved to Vermont where she continued her teaching career at Mater Christi School in Burlington, continuing her long association with the Sisters of Mercy. Upon her retirement, Mr. and Mrs. Hammond moved to Wapiti, Wyo. and worked on the Double E Ranch, eventually moving onto the ranch.
   Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by husband Paul; brother John and his wife, Kay, Schulte of Hoschton, Ga. and their children, Deborah, John Andrew and Stephen; sister Stefanie Myers of East Windsor, and her children, Michael, John Robert and Marian; five grandnieces and two grandnephews; sister-in-law Sister Marita Paul of Garrison, N.Y.; and cousin Frances Schulte of Queens, N.Y.
   Services were held at St. Anthony’s Church and burial took place at Riverside Cemetery in Cody, Wyo.
   A memorial mass will be held 10 a.m. Dec. 2 at Saint Georges Roman Catholic Church, 1370 River Road, Titusville.
