Grew up in Princeton
CHICAGO Robert G. "Bob" Hall died Nov. 13. He was 84.
Born and raised in Princeton, he was a longtime Chicago resident.
He was district director of the Social Security Administration in Chicago for more than 40 years.
He attended Witherspoon Presbyterian Church while growing up and graduated from Princeton High School.
He attended Lincoln University and Lemoyne College before being drafted into the Army.
After his military service, he moved to Chicago and obtained a master’s degree in public administration from Roosevelt University.
Son of the late Ethel and William Hall Sr., he is survived by his lifelong friend and companion, Lois Raines; brothers William Sr. of Stone Mountain, Ga., Roger Hall from Tucson, Ariz., and Richard Hall of Lansdale, Pa.; sisters Vivian Lawrence of Sacramento, Calif., Margaret Young of Landham, Md., and Mary Sibley of Los Angeles; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
The funeral will be noon today at Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church,124 Witherspoon St., Princeton, with the Rev. Muriel Burrows officiating.
Interment will be at Princeton Cemetery.
Calling hour will begin at 11 a.m.

Marion T. Schlinkert
Retired elementary school teacher
Marion T. Schlinkert of Princeton died Saturday at Princeton Care Center. She was 79.
Born in New York City, she resided in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, N.Y., most of her life.
A fifth-grade teacher, she retired in 1968 after 20 years with the New York City Department of Education.
She received a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University in 1948 and a master’s degree in economics in 1949.
Daughter of the late Joseph and Mary McArdle Schlinkert and sister-in-law of the late Doris Schlinkert, she is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Richard Thornton of Lawrence; brother Joseph Schlinkert of Wantagh, Long Island, N.Y.; nieces Mary Calabria and husband Pat, Susan Stanton and husband Mark, Eileen Thornton and Jo-Anne Thornton; nephew Richard Thornton and wife Eileen; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. today at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd., Woodside, N.Y.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Peter Kapschutschenko
Sculptor
LAWRENCE Peter Kapschutschenko died on Friday. He was 91.
Born in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, he was a former resident of Argentina.
He was a sculptor with works on exhibit in many museums.
He graduated with a degree in sculpture from the Dnipropetrovsk Academy of Art. From 1945 through 1949, as a refugee at the displaced persons camp in Regensburg, Germany, he exhibited his sculptures, illustrated literary works and worked as a stage designer and decorator for the Ukrainian theater.
A resident of Argentina from 1949 to 1963, Mr. Kapschutschenko was appointed honorary member of the Universidad Libre de Humanidades de Buenos Aires in recognition of his artistry and contributions to the Argentine culture.
In 1963, Mr. Kapschutschenko came to the United States and he taught several years at the Ukrainian Art Studio in Philadelphia. His sculptures in terra cotta, porcelain, bronze and wood have been shown in at least 50 exhibits in the U.S. and Canada, and are found in many private collections.
From 1995 through 2001, Mr. Kapschutschenko had four one-man invited exhibits in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. Nine major museums in his native country hold his sculptures in their permanent collections. In 2006, he received the Presidential Order of Merit from the president of Ukraine.
Husband of the late Zoja Kapschutschenko, he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Ludmila Kapschutschenko and John B. Schmitt of Lawrence, and relatives in Ukraine.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Memorial Church, South Bound Brook.
Visiting hour will begin 9:30 a.m. at the church.

Rosalyn B. Bruno
Daughter was guidance counselor
MONROE Rosalyn B. Bruno died Friday at the Monroe Village Health Care Center. She was 89.
Born in Newark, she lived in Clearbrook for 17 years and Monroe Village for the past three years.
While residing at Clearbrook, Mrs. Bruno was a member of the Italian American Club and ORT.
Wife of the late Walter Bruno; she is survived by her daughter, Gail Bruno, retired guidance counselor at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School; and granddaughter Kara Bruno.
