Ruth A. (Blinkoff) Rosen, 64, of Kendall Park, died Sunday, Nov. 19, at her residence.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y., she resided in Albany, N.Y., before coming to Kendall Park 33 years ago. She retired in 2003 as a programmer for AT&T, Somerset division after many years of service with the telephone company.
Her life revolved around her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, going to Atlantic City and to Broadway shows in New York; Klezmer music and knitting. She was a member of Congregation B’nai Tikvah of North Brunswick; a life member of Hadassah; and a member of Chavurat Kol Haneshama.
Her parents, Samuel and Bess (Pleskow) Blinkoff, are deceased, as is her sister, Judith Rosberg, who died in 1990, and her beloved husband, Louis H. Rosen, who died in 2002. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Marc A. and Rochelle Rosen of North Brunswick, and Brian E. Rosen of West Palm Beach, Fla.; her brother, Richard Blinkoff of New York City; and her grandson, Liam Rosen.
Graveside funeral services were Monday, Nov. 20, at Washington Cemetery, Deans, where Rabbi Michael Goldstein of Congregation B’nai Tikvah officiated. Contributions may be made to either the Cancer Institute of New Jersey or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Arrangements are by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.
