CHARLOTTE, Fla. William W. "Bill" Bennett died Nov. 17 at TideWell Hospice House, Venice, Fla. He was 80.
Born in Trenton, he was a longtime Pennington resident.
Mr. Bennett was the circulation manager for The Princeton Packet Inc. for 20 years, retiring in the late 1980s. He moved to Port Charlotte in 1996.
He was widely regarded by Packet employees for his problem-solving skills ranging from motor mechanics to demands that extended well beyond his job description. His generosity extended to lending employees Packet trucks to use in moving their household goods.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons William W. Bennett of Melbourne, Fla., and Grant W. Bennett of Port Charlotte, Fla.; daughters Elizabeth J. Kubitsky of Fairless Hills, Pa., Kyle L. Bennett of Columbus and Jill A. Puckett of Naples, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Restlawn Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte, Fla.

MONROE Bernard Schwartz died Wednesday at Cranbury Center. He was 85.
He was a former resident of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Leonia.
Mr. Schwartz was the proprietor of a curtain and drapery store in the Bronx, N.Y.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; sons Mitchell Schwartz of Plainsboro and Andrew Schwartz of Van Nuys, Calif.; a sister; and four grandchildren.
Funeral and burial will be 1 p.m. today at Beth Moses Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y.
Arrangements are by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
