Jack Reid Jr.

   DELAWARE — Jack Allen Reid Jr., 19 of Delaware Township died Sunday, Nov. 19.
   Born in Raritan Township, he was the son of Kathleen Martin Reid of Delaware Township and the late Jack A. Reid Sr., who died in 2001 and grandson of the late Sally Martin, who died in 2005.
   He had resided in Delaware Township the past four years, previously residing in Kingwood Township.
   He was a 2005 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School.
   He was employed by Crossroads Restaurant in Croton.
   He was a member of Amwell Church of the Brethren, Delaware Township.
   Surviving besides his mother are his mother’s companion, Brian Hewitt of Delaware Township; a sister, Shannon Marie Reid of Delaware Township; an aunt, Florence Kitner of Broadway, N.J.; two uncles, Russell Reid of Upper Black Eddy, Pa., and Robert Martin of Easton, Pa.; his cousin, Sadie Grace Martin of Upper Black Eddy, Pa.; and his girlfriend, Heather Marie Opdyke of Delaware Township.
   Funeral services were held at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was private and held in Milford (N.J.) Union Cemetery.

Annunziata Pasciucco

   RINGOES — Annunziata "Tina" Narcelli Pasciucco, 82, of Ringoes, formerly of Trenton, died Saturday, Nov. 25, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.
   Born in Naples, Italy, she married Rocco P. Pasciucco and came to the United States in the mid-1940s.
   She was widowed in 1967.
   She lived in the Trenton area for most of her time before moving to Ringoes.
   She worked at Erzak’s Bakery, the Italian Peoples Bakery and the State of New Jersey in Trenton.
   She was the daughter of the late Anna and Antonio Narcelli.
   Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Peter and Carol Pasciucco of Yardville and Anthony Masciucco of California; two daughters and a son-in-law, Anna Notte of Ringoes and Martha and Philip Pittore of Ringoes; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Mario Narcelli; a niece; and several grandnieces and grandnephews in Brazil.
   The funeral service was held from Kingston & Kemp Funeral Home, Hamilton. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Raphael’s Church, Trenton. Burial followed at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Trenton.
Marie Dixon

   WEST AMWELL — Marie E. Dixon, a longtime resident of West Amwell, died of heart failure Thanksgiving morning at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. She was 98.
   For the past 1½ years, Mrs. Dixon has been a resident at Independence Manor in Flemington.
   Mrs. Dixon was the widow of Professor Robert L. Dixon, a professor of accounting at the University of Michigan, who also served as president of the American Accounting Association.
   In the 1950s, Mrs. Dixon accompanied her husband on a seven-month lecture tour of Australia where she delivered talks on life in America. Following this trip, Mrs. Dixon entertained many Australian dignitaries and their families in her home in Ann Arbor.
   Mrs. Dixon was an oil painter who worked at her art well into her 90s. She started her painting career after her trip to Australia. Scenes from that experience provided the subjects of many of her early works. Her paintings are in the homes of friends in all the areas where she lived.
   Her works had been shown at the Hunterdon Museum of Art in Clinton and in numerous shows in Rockport, Mass.
   She and her husband moved to Rockport in the 1970s after spending summers there for many years. She was a member of the Pigeon Cove Improvement Society.
   The couple came to West Amwell in 1987. Later, they traveled to Europe where they visited their two granddaughters, living in London and central France.
   Professor Dixon died in 1993.
   Mrs. Dixon is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anne Dixon and John Goodyear of Lambertville; her two granddaughters and their husbands, Amy Goodyear and Harry Walton of London and Sarah Goodyear and Pierre Lagrange of Cluis, France; her two great-grandchildren, Alise and Raphael Lagrange, both of France; and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Dixon Stamberger of Cincinnati, Ohio.
   A private family celebration of Mrs. Dixon’s life will take place in the near future.

Ruth Christopher

   DOYLESTOWN — Ruth C. Christopher, 53, of Doylestown, Pa., died Thursday, Nov. 23, at Doylestown Hospital.
   Born in Philadelphia, she lived in the New Hope-Lambertville area for most of her adult life before moving to Doylestown last year.
   She was a massage therapist at the Stockton Center for Health Care.
   A bookkeeper and office manager, she was associated with many area businesses, including the Wedgewood Inn, Havana Restaurant and Yogaphoria, all in New Hope, Max and Me Caterers in Gardenville and the Center Club in Buckingham.
   Earlier, she owned her own restaurant in Lambertville and her own medical records and bookkeeping business, which she later sold.
   Ms. Christopher was a studio artist working in oils and watercolor. Her artwork was selected for the T-shirt design for Lambertville’s Shad Festival in 1989.
   She belonged to an international Internet association of Mini-Cooper enthusiasts.
   Surviving are her son, Milo Jon Christopher of Doylestown; her mother, Ruth Baer Milner of East Norriton, Pa.; four sisters, Marian Christopher of Kennett Square, Pa., Theresa Christopher of Harrisburg, Pa., Karen Christopher of East Norriton and Carole Milner of Norristown, Pa.; three nieces; and two nephews.
   Committal services were private and under the direction of the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville.

Harry DeWitt Jr.

   STOCTON — Harry DeWitt Jr. of Stockton died Sunday, Nov. 27, at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township.
   Born in Patterson, Mr. DeWitt had lived in Stockton since 1949.
   He and his first wife, Alice, operated DeWitt’s Grocery in Stockton from 1949 to 1955.
   Mr. DeWitt served in the Army during World War II.
   He was a member of the VFW, one of the founding members and a life member of the Stockton First Aid Squad, a member of the Stockton Fire Company, a member and past master of the Orpheus Lodge No. 137 F&AM, served on the board of trustees of the Sandy Ridge Cemetery Association and was the caretaker of the cemetery for many years.
   Mr. DeWitt was a police officer with the Hightstown Borough Police Department, past chief of the Delaware Township Police Department and retired from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission as a bridge officer.
   He was the son of the late Harry and Anna Van Splinter DeWitt Sr., widower of Alice Wilson DeWitt and Marlene Kollmer DeWitt and brother of the late Ralph, John and William DeWitt.
   Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Grady of New Hope; one son, Doug DeWitt of Asheville, N.C.; his stepchildren and their spouses, Thomas and Dawn Bigley of Ringoes, Mimi and Bill Seachrist of Springfield Township, Pa., and James and Danae Bigley of Riegelsville, Pa.; one brother, Charles DeWitt of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; his grandchildren, Sara and her husband, Kevin Snyder, Deb Grady, Clint DeWitt, Emily Wintermute and Tommy and Cole Bigley; his great grandson, Luke Snyder; one niece; and one nephew.
   Funeral services will be held today (Nov. 30) at 11 a.m. at the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville. Burial will follow in Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
   Masonic services were held Wednesday at the funeral home.
