James Toth, 43, of Morrisville, Pa., is facing felony drug charges after being stopped Tuesday, Nov. 21.
Police said they stopped a suspicious vehicle and found Mr. Toth with open containers of beer in the vehicle. Mr. Toth was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, police said.
He also was in possession of several pieces of crack cocaine as well as a crack pipe after attempting to hide the evidence in his shoe, police said.
He also had numerous warrants for his arrest from various jurisdictions.
Mr. Toth was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, drug paraphernalia, use of a controlled dangerous substance, driving while under the influence, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a vehicle, having open containers of alcohol and driving while suspended.
He was taken to the Hunterdon County Jail in lieu of $17,500 bail.
Thanksgiving Day, Michael Mannino, 32, of Flemington was charged with drunken driving.
Police stopped Mr. Mannino on North Main Street in the area of Cherry Street at 3 a.m. after he was observed driving erratically, police said.
He also was charged with reckless driving and two counts of failure to keep right. He was released without bail.
Jean Gallo, 20, of Doylestown was charged with drunken driving Saturday.
Police stopped Ms. Gallo on Alexander Avenue at 3:15 a.m. after she was observed weaving on North Main Street, police said.
She also was charged with underage drunken driving, refusal to submit to a Breathalyzer, reckless driving and failure to keep right.
She was released without bail.
Two people were arrested Saturday as a result of a traffic accident at 1:40 a.m.
Police reported to Bridge and North Union streets on a report of people arguing in the street.
Victoria Corozine, 42, of Flemington and Robert Dempsey II, 39, also of Flemington, had been involved in a motor vehicle accident, police said.
Ms. Corozine struck the rear of a parked vehicle while traveling east on Bridge Street, police said. The force of the impact caused both airbags of Ms. Corozine’s vehicle to deploy, injuring the passenger, Mr. Dempsey, in the process, police said.
Ms. Corozine was charged with drunken driving.
While attempting to treat his injuries, Mr. Dempsey refused to comply with police and was found urinating next to the ambulance that was dispatched to assist him, police said.
Ms. Corozine also was charged with reckless driving. Mr. Dempsey was charged with disorderly conduct and failure to comply with a police order.
Both were released without bail.
Edgardo Rivera, 37, of Allentown, Pa., was arrested following a traffic stop Nov. 21.
Police stopped Rivera Mr. on Route 29 in the area of Route 202 after he was observed driving an unsafe vehicle with a broken driver-side rear window, police said.
He was driving while on the revoked list and also was wanted by the Morris County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on drug charges, police said.
Mr. Rivera was taken to the Hunterdon County Jail to await being transferred to Morris County.
He was charged with driving while suspended and having improper safety glass.
Nov. 11 at 1:43 a.m., Kari Hoppaugh, 21, of Califon, N.J., was charged with drunken driving after she reportedly was observed operating her vehicle in an unlawful manner on South Main Street, police said.
Nov. 12 at 2:38 a.m., Barbara Bow, 22, of Ringoes was charged with drunken driving after she reportedly was observed operating her vehicle in an unlawful manner on South Main Street, police said.
