Bernard Collins

   Bernard Collins, 87, of Monroe, died Sunday, Nov. 26, at his residence.
   Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived there most of his life before moving to Monroe five years ago.
   Mr. Collins was an Army Veteran, serving during World War II as a Sergeant. He was a driver for Local Dairies for over 40 years, before retiring in 1984. He was also a member of Knights of Pythias.
   He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Solash); his daughters, Judy Carabillo and Iris Trout; his sister, Dorothy Schlossberg; his brother, Seymour Collins; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
   Services were held at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Arrangements were handled by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels in Manalapan.
