WEST WINDSOR — The West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance is searching for student members.
The nonprofit organization plans to appoint two students to its advisory board, each for a one-year term, starting in February.
The student members are meant to raise awareness on the board of young people’s concerns about bicycle and pedestrian access and safety in the township.
The organization is accepting applications until Jan. 5. Once appointed, students are asked to attend WWBPA meetings and to participate in and help coordinate events including the West Windsor Bike Fest, Pedals for Progress Bike Drive and International Walk to School Day.
Student members will also be expected to help arrange educational outreach efforts to acquaint the youth community with bicycle and pedestrian access and safety issues.
Applications can be submitted by e-mail and are available online at www.princetononline.org/wwbpa.
