Michael A. Bochino, 89, of Monmouth Junction, died Friday, Dec. 1, at the University Medical Center in Princeton.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he resided there until 2003. Mr. Bochino was a World War II Army veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He retired in 1979, with over 25 years of service from the New York City Parks Department. He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church and previously a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bronx, N.Y.
His wife, Tina Bonfirraro Bochino, is deceased. He is survived by two daughters, and two sons-in-law, Joanne and Dale Hoth and Rosanne and Robert Tona; and five grandchildren, Jodi, Nick, Leigh Ann, Bobby and Michael.
The funeral was held Monday, Dec. 4 at M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at St. Cecilia’s Church, 10 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
