Robert Kinney
   Robert E. Kinney, of Lawrence, died Monday at the University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 87.
   Born in La Valle, Wis., he had been a resident of Lawrence since 1963.
   Mr. Kinney was Valedictorian of his 1937 graduating class at Reedsburg High School in Wisconsin. He received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin, class of 1942 and then his master’s in chemistry from Temple University.
   Mr. Kinney was a senior research chemist at the Mobil Oil Company in Princeton for 42 years before retiring in 1983. He had been published in several prestigious scientific journals, and held over 15 U.S. patents. He was a member of the American Chemical Society and The Scientific Research Society, also known as Sigma Xi.
   For many years he had volunteered for Meals-On-Wheels, and was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous since 1984.
   Son of the late Walter and Martha Griffith Kinney, husband of the late Eleanor Jane Miller Kinney and brother of the late Fred, Archibald and Thomas Kinney and Evelyn Apple, he is survived by two sons, David F. Kinney Sr. and his wife, Mary, of Ewing; and Peter W. Kinney, of Seattle, Wash.; a daughter; Martha J. Rodriquez, of Lawrence; two grandsons, David F. Kinney Jr. and Juan Jose Rodriquez and a nephew; Jerry Apple.
   A memorial service will be celebrated at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Trinity All Saints Cemetery, Princeton.
William Stuller
   WEST WINDSOR — William R. "Bill" Stuller, of West Windsor, died Dec. 1 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 71.
   Born in Trenton, he grew up in Lawrence Township before residing in West Windsor.
   Mr. Stuller retired from Princeton University as a senior maintenance mechanic after 34 years of service. He was an active member of Hamilton Square Baptist Church, the Hamilton Grange 79, was a 4-H leader and member of the West Windsor Historical Society.
   Son of the late Jady and Margaret Stuller, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lois T. Stuller; a daughter, Karen Hawkins; two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Denise Stuller and Todd and Mildred Stuller; two sisters, Lucille Foden and Diane Snow; one brother, Joseph Stuller; seven grandchildren, Adam and Conrad Hawkins, William Stuller; Amanda, Edward, Tabitha and Hannah Stuller; an aunt and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday at Hamilton Square Baptist Church, Hamilton. Interment was in Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Dutch Neck.

John Drake
   MONTGOMERY — John W. Drake died Nov. 26 at the University Medical Center at Princeton. He was 82.
   Born in Princeton, Mr. Drake was a resident of Montgomery Township, where he worked the family farm his entire life.
   A 1943 graduate of Princeton High School, he enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, trapping and he raised chickens and produced eggs.
   Mr. Drake was predeceased by his parents, G. Wilbur and Helen A. Drake, his first wife June Tedeschi Drake, and his second wife Jeanne Munley Drake. He is survived by his children, Sally Drake, of Lawrence; Cathy and Dennis McClenahan, of West Windsor, and John Henry Drake, of Montgomery Township. Mr. Drake also is survived by his brother, Donald Drake, of Montgomery Township, grandchildren Sandy and Cynthia McClenahan, and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were Nov. 30 at the Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, Hopewell. Interment was in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
Robert Vanisko Sr.
   HAMILTON — Robert G. Vanisko Sr., of Hamilton, died Nov. 28 at Arcadia Nursing Home, Hamilton. He was 78.
   Born in Trenton, he had lived in Hamilton since 1967.
   Mr. Vanikso retired from employment with Mercer County as a heavy equipment operator and supervisor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and member of the first Army band, Camp Kilmer. Mr. Vanisko was a professional musician all his life and played in a variety of big bands. He retired as a musician in 2001. He was a member of the Mercer County Remote Control Society and West Windsor Remote Control Flying Club. He was an avid fisherman and boats man. He was a former member of the Trenton Police Department. He also was a former president of Immaculate Conception Holy Name Society.
   Mr. Vanisko was predeceased by his parents, George and Anna Benney Vanisko, and aunt Mary Tempfli. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Sopko Vanisko; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Phil Pratico Jr., of Lawrence; son and daughter-in-law Robert Jr. and Janine Vanisko, of Hamilton; grandchildren Carme and Michael Sullivan; Felicia and Peter Rosati; Phillip Pratico III; Ariana Pratico; Robert and Dominic Vanisko; four great-grandchildren, Micaela, Kyle and Ryan Sullivan, and Giacomo Rosati; and a close cousin, Kathie Stefanics.
   Funeral services were held Dec. 4 at Kutch Funeral Home, Trenton. Interment was in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.

Irene Getlen
   TRENTON — Irene Elizabeth Getlen died Nov. 28 at Capital Health System’s Fuld Campus. She was 101.
   Born in Reading, Pa., Mrs. Getlen resided in Trenton most of her life.
   Grandmother of the late Donna Floyd and Wallace Dunlap, sister of the late Peg Ogliarulo and Minta (Bun) Taylor, mother of the late Betty D. Floyd, and wife of the late Ralph Getlen, she is survived by two grandchildren, Ralph Floyd, of Lawrence, and Irene Floyd, of Ewing; and several great-grandchildren, including Jason and Nicole Floyd.
   Funeral services were held Monday at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Burial was in Ewing Cemetery.
   Memorial contributions may be offered to a charity of the donor’s choice.
