Paul F. Cogan

   Paul Francis Cogan, 79, died Wednesday, Nov. 29, at his home in Kendall Park.
   Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided in Kendall Park since 1963. He retired after 38 years of service with R.J. Markey & Sons of New York City. He was a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury R.C. Church and a member of its Knights of Columbus Council 6345. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II.
   His wife, Ruth J. Cogan; daughter, Carol Cogan, and sister, Agnes McGuiness, are deceased. He is survived by a son, Paul F. Cogan Jr. of Woodbridge; four daughters, Nancy Harvey of Toms River, Jeanne Cogan of Kendall Park, Paula Jankowski of Franklin Park and Geralyn Hamilton of Kendall Park; two sisters, Jean Becht of Lexington, Va., and Rosemary Lambert of Scarsdale, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
   The funeral was held a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine of Canterbury Church, 45 Henderson Road, Kendall Park. Burial was at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.
