   A manager for Verizon Wireless reported the theft of an 18-inch copper grounding plate from a cellular antennae tower on Zion Road, valued at $100. The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 13 and Nov. 13.

   A set of wooden stair railings valued at $600 was reported stolen from the garage of a house under construction on Weber Avenue sometime between 8 a.m. Nov. 11 and 4 p.m. Nov. 12.

   Thomas Laplaca, 18, Arthur Road, was charged with DWI at 2:08 a.m. Nov. 29 after police observed the vehicle he was driving swerving on Route 206.
   After police noticed the smell of alcohol, Mr. Laplaca was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was taken into custody and charged with DWI, refusing to provide breath samples, driving with a blood alcohol level between .01 and .08 percent while underage, and careless driving.
   He was released after the charges were filed, pending an appearance in Municipal Court.

   Christopher Brandecker, 29, Amwell Road, was charged with DWI at 12:32 a.m. Nov. 17 after police observed the vehicle he was driving speeding on Millstone River Road.
   Police noticed the odor of alcohol and administered field sobriety tests, which Mr. Brandecker failed. At police headquarters, breath tests revealed his blood alcohol content to be 0.11 percent. State law prohibits driving with a BAC above 0.08 percent.
   Mr. Brandecker was also found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and a pipe, police said.
   He was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and speeding, before being released.

   Debra Coghan, 42, of Laurence Harbor, was charged with DWI at 1:53 a.m. Nov. 18 after police observed her running a red light on Route 206 at New Amwell Road.
   Police noticed the odor of alcohol after stopping her and administered field sobriety tests, which she failed. Breath tests taken at police headquarters showed her blood alcohol level to be 0.12 percent.
   She was charged with DWI and failing to observe a traffic signal and released.

   Javier Picado, 31, of Capricorn Drive, was charged with DWI at 11:04 p.m. Nov. 18 after police observed the vehicle he driving moving slowly on Route 206.
   When police spoke to Mr. Picado, they noticed the odor of alcohol and asked him to perform field sobriety tests. He failed and was taken into custody. At the police station, breath tests showed his blood alcohol level to be 0.14 percent.
   He was also charged with driving without a valid license and impeding the flow of traffic before he was released, pending an appearance in Municipal Court..

   Albert Hanyecz, 45, East Mountain Road, was charged with DWI after police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on East Mountain Road.
   Upon arriving, police found Mr. Hanyecz’s vehicle stuck in a drainage ditch. Mr. Hanyecz told police he had lost control of the vehicle on a corner.
   Police noticed Mr. Hanyecz’s breath smelled of alcohol and administered field sobriety tests, which he failed. At the police station, breath tests showed a blood alcohol content level of 0.22 percent.
   Mr. Hanyecz was also charged with reckless driving. He was released pending an appearance in Municipal Court.

   Jeffrey Cilenta, 20, of Pembroke Terrace, was charged with DWI at 3:28 a.m. Nov. 23 after police observed the vehicle he was driving on Amwell Road swerving between the eastbound lanes near Beekman Lane.
   After stopping him, police noticed the smell of alcohol and administered field sobriety tests, which Mr. Cilenta failed. At the police station, his blood alcohol level was measured at 0.19 percent.
   Mr. Cilenta was also charged with failing to keep right, obstructing the flow of traffic and driving without insurance. He was released pending an appearance in Municipal Court.

   Kenneth Cummings, 67, Skillman, was charged with DWI at 11:37 p.m. Nov. 28 after a police officer observed the vehicle he was driving illegally pass a car stopped at a red light at New Amwell Road and Route 206, and run the light.
   After stopping Mr. Cummings, police smelled alcohol on his breath and administered field sobriety tests, which he failed. At the police station, breath tests revealed Mr. Cummings’ BAC to be 0.06 percent.
   He was charged with DWI, failing to stop, improperly passing a vehicle and careless driving. He was released pending an appearance in Municipal Court.

   Eric Helman, 42, of Capricorn Drive, was charged with DWI at 8:36 p.m. Nov. 28 after police stopped to assist him change two flat tires on his vehicle.
   Police stopped after seeing Mr. Helman pulled to the side of New Amwell Road with both passenger-side tires flat. The officer noticed the smell of alcohol while speaking to Mr. Helman and administered field sobriety tests.
   Mr. Helman failed the tests and was taken into custody. At the police station, Mr. Helman’s BAC was measured at 0.10 percent.
   He was charged with DWI and careless driving before being released, pending an appearance in Municipal Court.
