On Saturday, Jan. 20, the Eden Family of Services will be holding its 19th annual Eden Dreams white-tie dinner gala at the Hyatt Regency Princeton in West Windsor.
This year’s theme, "Dreams of La Belle Époque," will transport guests to the enchanted world of a dazzling Paris of the past, where bohemians and bon-vivants stroll at night down narrow, mysterious streets and rub elbows in bold, gas-lit cabarets like The Moulin Rouge.
Herb and Shari Lurie, longtime supporters of Eden, are the primary sponsors for this year’s event.
Sponsorship opportunities, ranging from $4,000 to $12,000 and above, are available. A company or individual donating a minimum of $6,000 qualifies for the Eden Dreams Honorary Committee, which entitles the donor to a variety of benefits, including additional seats at the gala, invitations to a special VIP reception, and public recognition opportunities in the program booklet.
Along with the Luries, the Honorary Committee currently includes Access Communications; Jennifer Angelo Design; Bristol-Myers Squibb; Continental Airlines; Fallen Angels Foundation; Beverly Sills Greenough; Hyatt Regency Princeton; Janssen, L.P.; Merrill Lynch; Munich Reinsurance America; The Olsen Foundation; Turn-Key Environmental Services, and Wachovia Bank.
A highlight of Eden Dreams is the annual Dream Search puzzle. Part riddle, quest and challenge, the Dream Search asks guests to thread their way through an intellectual labyrinth of clues to try and divine the correct answer (or answers) to a theme-related puzzle. The winner is rewarded with honors and a spectacular prize. Actors are on hand at the event to provide interactive theatre and clues to help guests solve the puzzle. Another exciting aspect of Eden Dreams is a silent auction featuring a limited number of extraordinary prize packages including celebrity meet-and-greets; autographed items; vacation get-aways; jewelry, and more. This year, the auction will feature a chance to attend the Emmy Awards and the Super Bowl.
Individual seats at "Dreams of La Belle Époque" are $300. All proceeds benefit the Eden Family of Services, serving children and adults with autism.
