Joseph Bussiere

   Joseph M. Bussiere, 45, of Dayton, died Saturday, Dec. 9, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
   Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Edison for 24 years, and was a graduate of Edison High School, where he played football and lacrosse. He then received a culinary arts degree from Middlesex County College. He was the owner and operator of Piscataway Liquors, Buzzy’s Restaurant and Park Avenue Caterers, all in Piscataway, for over 20 years. He was a communicant of St. Cecilia’s R.C. Church, Monmouth Junction, and was a devoted husband and father. He will be greatly missed by his family, and his many friends and business associates.
   His father, Robert Bussiere, died in 2002, and a brother, Michael Bussiere, died in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Patty A. (Meidhof) Bussiere; three daughters, Michelle, Danielle and Jenna, all at home; his mother, Rita (Cassidy) Bussiere of Somerset; a sister, Sherrie Lynn Brownlie, and her husband, Rob, of Edison; two brothers, Robert J. of Somerset and David and his wife, Lynn, of Bentonville, Ark.; and many nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 13, at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe, and were followed by a 10 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Cecilia’s R.C. Church, Monmouth Junction. Interment then followed at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
