MCCC theater students to perform in Manhattan storefront window

Mercer County Community College theater students are scheduled to showcase their talents this week — but not in the traditional way.
Students studying experimental and avant-garde drama and dance will visit Manhattan today and Sunday to perform in storefront windows at Chashama at 217 East 42nd St.
Four groups of students will put on four different performances that feature mime, improv, multimedia and drama.
In one skit, an actor wearing a sign that reads "Humanity" will be assaulted by "Passion," "Devil," "Love" and "Seven Deadly Sins."
The performers have been studying under Jody Person, a young MCCC faculty member who teaches visual and performing arts artistic collaboration workshop.
