Palmer Square will host a menorah lighting and Hanukkah celebration Tuesday at the North Plaza on Hulfish Street beginning at 5 p.m.
The ceremony will include guest speakers David Newton, vice president of Palmer Square Management; Dovid Dubov of Chabad Lubavitch of Greater Mercer County; and Princeton Township Mayor Phyllis Marchard.
Music will be provided by Oneg Shemesh, performing a combination of modern and traditional Jewish melodies, Palmer Square representatives said.
"Oneg was inspired and mentored by the late Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach and his performance will be something old yet new to the Princeton area," Mr. Newton said in a prepared statement.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine.
