An 18-wheel tractor-trailer owned by H.P. Odyke Lumber Co. parked on Amsterdam Road was broken into sometime between 4:30 p.m. Nov. 29 and 3 p.m. Nov. 30.
Nothing was taken, and damage was limited to the trailer’s padlock, which was cut.

Victor Delgado, 40, of Trenton, was charged with DWI at 2:36 a.m. Dec. 10 after police observed the vehicle he was driving on Millstone River Road speeding, police said.
After stopping him, police allegedly smelled alcohol on his breath and administered field sobriety tests. Mr. Delgado failed the tests and was taken into custody, police said.
At the police station, his blood alcohol content allegedly was measured at 0.08 percent. State law prohibits driving with a blood alcohol content at 0.08 percent or higher.
Mr. Delgado also was charged with speeding, failing to keep right, reckless driving and driving without a license. He was released pending an appearance in municipal court.

Reginald Foster, 25, of Branchburg, was charged with DWI at 1:53 a.m. Dec. 14 after police stopped the vehicle he was driving on Route 206 with a loud muffler, police said.
After stopping him, police allegedly noticed the smell of alcohol on his breath and administered field sobriety tests, which he failed. He was taken into custody, and at the police station his BAC measured 0.07 percent, police said.
In addition to the DWI charge, Mr. Foster was charged with reckless driving and operating a vehicle with a noisy muffler. He was released pending an appearance in municipal court.

At 11:40 p.m. Dec. 14, Rico Baskett, 43, of Bloomingdale Drive, was charged with DWI after police observed him driving a vehicle on Route 206 near New Amwell Road with an obstructed rear view, police said.
Police stopped him on New Amwell Road and allegedly smelled alcohol on his breath. Mr. Baskett failed the field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, police said. At the police station, his BAC allegedly was measured at 0.13 percent.
In addition to the DWI charge, Mr. Baskett was charged with careless driving and driving with an obstructed view, before he was released.

The manager of the Lowe’s Home Improvement Center in the Hillsborough Promenade Shopping Center reported an attempted burglary that took place sometime between 4 p.m. Dec. 5 and 9 p.m. Dec. 6.
Nothing was taken, but someone had cut a 10-inch gash in a chain link fence in the store’s landscape department. Damage to the fence was estimated at $50.

C&F Metals reported the theft of 29 steel beams valued at $3,275 from the company’s Sunnymead Road site sometime between 3:30 p.m. Dec. 7 and 9:30 a.m. Dec. 8.

Joann Voorhees, 60, of New Brunswick, was charged with DWI at 10:26 p.m. Dec. 4 after police responded to a Hillsborough resident’s report of a possibly drunken driver on Amwell Road.
Police stopped Ms. Voorhees near Auten Road after observing the vehicle she was driving swerving between lanes, and noticed the smell of alcohol on her breath, police said. Ms. Voorhees allegedly failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
She was charged with DWI, refusing to provide breath samples and failing to maintain lanes before being released pending an appearance in municipal court.

A Deanna Drive resident reported someone slashed all four tires on her 1995 Ford Taurus during the night of Nov. 16, causing $240 in damage.

Someone entered two locked storage areas for residents of an Eves Drive condominium sometime between Nov. 25 and Dec. 9.
The owners did not report anything missing.
