Pearl "Peppy" Sandler Wolfson, 80, of Monroe, died Wednesday, Dec. 6.
Born in New York City, she resided in Perth Amboy and Metuchen before moving to Monroe three years ago. She was a 1949 graduate of Rutgers College of Pharmacy in Newark. She worked at local pharmacies including Rabiner’s in Perth Amboy and Boyt’s in Metuchen before retiring from Pathmark in 1992.
Her husband of 49 years, Meyer, died in 2004. She is survived by her sons, Marc of Monroe, and Gary of Freehold; and three grandchildren, Melanie, Nicholas and Jordan.
A private service was held by the family. As per Ms. Wolfson’s wishes, her body was donated to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for the advancement of science and learning.
