   A former Garry Street resident reported the theft of 108 Percocet prescription painkiller pills during a move to Lebanon Township on Dec. 19.

Flaurette Lumas, no address given, was taken into custody on a charge of theft by deception Dec. 20 at 11:10 a.m. after A&P grocery store employees reported a suspected shoplifter, police said.
   She was released after posting $500 cash bond.

Melissa Eckert, 24, of North 13th Avenue, and Randy Pavan, 31, of South Eighth Avenue, were both charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 10:11 p.m. Dec. 20, following a traffic stop on South Seventh Avenue near Camplain Road.

A South 11th Avenue resident reported someone slashed a front tire on his vehicle sometime between 9:05 p.m. and 9:33 p.m. Dec. 21. The tire was valued at $50.

A Wyoming Place resident reported the theft of various construction tools and equipment valued at $3,500 from a locked vehicle during the night of Dec. 21.
   Police are investigating the theft.

A Hillsborough resident reported the theft of two DVDs valued at $60 from an unlocked vehicle parked at the Quick Chek convenience store on Brooks Boulevard at 10:53 p.m. Friday.

Joseph Koscuik Jr., of Manville, was taken into custody for several outstanding warrants at 5:40 p.m. Saturday as police investigated a report of a prowler on Washington Avenue, police said.
   Municipal court warrants totaling $208 from Manville, $192.50 for Bridgewater and $216 from Somerville had been issued, police said. Mr. Koscuik was turned over to the Somerset County Jail.

A Garry Street resident called police at 10:49 p.m. Saturday to report a break-in, noting the intruder was in a bedroom in the house.
   The intruder fled when police arrived, running toward the Central Jersey airport, police said.
   He was described as white male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, police said.
   Nothing was taken and police were unable to find anyone in the area.

Two South Main Street residents reported vehicles broken into Saturday night.
   One resident said three vehicles were entered, and that loose change totaling $9, four compact discs and an owner’s manual for a 2005 Mazda Tribute were taken.
   The other resident did not report anything stolen.

A 26-inch men’s "Next" bicycle valued at $74 was reported stolen from a West Camplain Road residence sometime between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday.
